Perfect fit for D55168
Quick fix, perfect fit. Be careful with the new “o” rings…. VERY delicate.

Works for other brands also just check the bore.
I couldn't find anything for my Husky 33 gallon compressor but after measuring bore and careful studying, this kit worked great. I think alot of people go by pics and don't actually make sure these parts are correct before ordering and then put bad reviews. I also put a light coat of grease on sleeve to make piston slide back in easier and hopefully last longer. Have to be careful with piston compression ring, could be easy to pinch between piston and cap if you're not careful and make sure it's pressed down over lip when putting it back together. For me, it worked great. Replaced o-ring on tube and now there's no leaks, builds all the way up, and not as loud. THANKS!!

Not for D55146 Type 5
I have a D55146 Type 5 and i dont think the piston seal was the correct fit. After I FINALLY got it installed,the compressor only built air to 100psi then I could hear a change in the pump. Took it back apart and the seal was destroyed. After this I found a video showing the inside of the seal fits the outside of the piston part that is raised, duh, but I thought maybe this fits different but, nope. Everything else was correct.

Waste of money
Installed this kit on a Dewalt D55168. The piston seal is made from inflexible material that does not fit the piston in the same manner as the factory seal. Once installed, I ran the compressor for a few minutes/ Initially it worked as expected; however, within a few minutes it lost pressure. I disassembled the cylinder and found that the piston seal had failed. Because the material has no flex to it, it fractured along the edges where the seal meets the piston head. This was a complete waste of my time and money. Note that I had made a similar repair on my portable Dewalt compressor and have had no issues...that repair used a kit from a different supplier.

Worked for my 33 gallon Husky c331h compressor
After seeing another review here I tried it for my 33 gallon oil free Husky air compressor. It took me about 15 minutes to do the swap out. Tested the compressor and now it fills up to 165. I recommend this.
