Surface Pro 9, 8 or X - Signature Type cover - Black

Bought this to match my new surface pro 9 which is also black. I also purchased the pen separately and this laptop case has the storage space to keep the pen safe while also charging it at the same time. The pen holder securely hides the pen against the surface so can't fall out. Great keyboard with great quality feeling keys when typing.

Never any problem with it. Fits instantly - faster than your hand can place it there - due to the magnetic attachment. My tablet recognises it instantly

A workhorse.

Premises: the keyboard is well made. The underside is made out of some kind of cloth, which protects the entire tablet when closed but if it gets dirty, it’s hard to clean. The palm rests are made out of alcantara, which I personally don’t like (but others do), and I know that time is unforgiving to this material. The keycaps do have a layer of rubber on them, and you know how things go with rubber. The typing experience is actually surprisingly good, if you’re going to use the keyboard in the “lifted” mode. If you prefer to use the keyboard in the “flattened” mode, the keyboard is all wobbly and totally unsatisfying to write on. The backlit is great. The touchpad is a classic mechanical one, and it’s just as good as it can be. There are two things that were just annoying about this keyboard: When you’re using it in “lifted” mode, the keyboard sits exactly on the tablet bottom bezel. Touching the app bar will inevitably touch the keyboard. This is good looking, but, well.. a little uncomfortable. The other downside is that when you flip the entire thing over the tablet to use the surface as a tablet, the connector on the bottom side of the tablet will interfere with your wrist and thus with the writing process, making it *really* annoying. I have to detach the keyboard to get comfy in writing. Last two points: the pen slot works as intended, and remember that when the keyboard is flipped to use the surface in tablet mode the keyboard and its fragile materials are completely exposed.

This is my kid's school surface and the keyboard stopped working. I got a full refund in 15 minutes. This was purchased 18 months ago.

Excellent build quality, zero setup as you just click and it works. Keyboard is responsive and back-light is subtle. Love that it also has the compartment for the Surface pen.

The keyboard failed after 2 years of very light use

Pessimo prodotto, originale microsoft, interfacciato con surface 8 pro, parliamo di 1500€ di roba e alla fine molta punteggiatura non funziona, non si riesce a mettere la @ o l’apostrofo e altri simboli, è tutto un errore anche se nei tastierini ci sono

This is a UK keyboard, unlike the images in the product posting. Fast delivery, work fine so far. Last one died after 3 years. How convinient right? I was searching for a quick fix to get the North American version, saw this one, and received a UK version.

It sucks, this is a present I'm taking to the other side of the world in 2 days so now I just have to give it like that and make the person who's going to receive the present to find her way out on how to use it... It was never mentioned in the product's description! This is so annoying.

The photo attached to this item shows a keyboard with an US key-layout. Delivered was an item with the UK key-layout. Although only a small difference, it is not the keyboard layout I'm used. I will return this item. Delivery time etc was ok, but as the picture shows a US keyboard and the description isn't explicit about the real keyboard layout, this is disappointing.
