I had one room that had bed bugs brought home from school. I did everything to try and kill these things. For a year I set off bug bombs several times a week, bought the bug spray from the store and sprayed daily. I burnt clothes, the mattress and box springs (twice) and put an air mattress in the room. I was washing everything in the room on the hot cycle and drying in a hot dryer. Just when I thought I had them killed, I'd see another. NOTHING was working! It actually got worse because some of them decided they didn't like that room anymore and moved into the next bedroom. I was over it!! I researched and finally found this product. I read the reviews and took the advice given. I bought mattress covers to seal off the new mattress and box springs. I bagged everything and put things not being used in storage. I duct taped all the bags closed. I thoroughly cleaned the rooms and stripped the bedding and washed it all, I sprayed everything down. I did this weekly and after a few weeks there was no sign of them. I've been using this product for over a year, and I still spray every other week simply because I think these bugs have traumatized me and I am not taking a chance of them coming back. One gallon lasted 6 months because I over obsessively sprayed. I bought a second gallon and in 8 months I have used half. It goes a long way and well worth the money. It was safe for my family and pets. The smell is different, not bad just a woody nature smell. I waited a year to make sure this product really worked before I typed a review, and I am here to say it does!! This product gave me my life back!

Very pleased with this product! Use it correctly, don't cheap out or do a half-a$$ed job and it will work for you too.
My wife and I began noticing bites on our daughter and after a thorough search of her room we discovered, much to our horror and disgust, that there were bed bugs. We believe that they came in a fabric headboard we ordered online, as that's were they seemed to be thriving and we had them nowhere else in the house. I swore to rain down hellfire on the sonsofb*tches that were biting my little girl, but since I had to take into account that this is where she sleeps and searched for a non-toxic eco friendly solution. I found this product and many of the reviews were very detailed and helpful so I decided to give it a try. I ordered two of the 1 gallon jugs as well as an inexpensive sprayer. Below are the steps I took to successfully rid these mofos from our home. Some might think I went overboard, but if you read horror stories about how difficult it can be to rid your home of these vile creatures once an infestation gets serious, you'll be convinced that there is no such thing as overkill. -We bagged every blanket, piece of clothing, stuffed toy, curtain and anything fabric and removed it from the room. This would be washed and dried at a very high temperature. -The mattress and fabric headboard went to the landfill. -I sprayed the entire room down with EcoRaider, baseboards, walls, carpet, ceiling, shelves. bed frame...everything! -I made a moat of food grade Diatomaceous Earth at the base of the bedroom door (I was afraid the little ****ers might come after us when they got hungry) -I noticed dead bed bugs after the first spray so I knew it was working. -Over the course of of the next 30 days I repeated the spray-down process 4 times while our daughter slept in the guest room. Letting the EcoRaider dry after each treatment and then doing a thorough vacuum. -During the 3rd treatment I saw a live bedbug come out of a crack in the wood bed frame as I was soaking it down. Realizing how tiny a space they can hide in I decided to take no chances and the bed frame went to the landfill. -After our final treatment we washed down the walls, windows, shelves, etc. to remove any EcoRaider residue. -We waited another week or so to allow the EcoRaider odor to subside. It isn't an unpleasant smell but it is quite strong. I also put in an odor absorbing "air sponge" and an air purifier to aid in clearing it out. -After the odor had subsided, and before putting my daughters things back in the room, my wife and I took turns sleeping in the room. We were acting as bait to see if we would end up with bites. We did not. -Its been 3-4 weeks since the last treatment and my daughter has not had any bites and ongoing inspections have not turned up any evidence of BBs. The room we were treating is approximately 100 square feet. I ended up only using one of the 1 gallon jugs I ordered. The sprayer I purchased was a must have as it allowed me to get the EcoRaider where I needed it to go without wasting any. While it does smell quite strong it isn't horrible, sort of like very intense pine. The odor does linger but subsides to reasonable levels after a few days of leaving the window open. The bad air sponge helped as well. After a few weeks it's still noticeable, but it's just a slight clean pine smell. I did get this stuff all over my hands and breathed it in with spraying it and I suffered no side effects whatsoever. Below are links to the products we used to battle the BBs. This works!
Gazing at my Amazon account, sadly I can see it has been a YEAR of me fighting those nasty bedbugs. Where did they come from, a couple of possibilities I have found during this year long battle. My husband travels a bunch could that be it? Or more than likely it was our poor decision (before I even knew about bedbugs) to pick up that beautiful huge sofa that someone left on a curb. Either way it has been one hell of a battle and EXPENSIVE! I was not worried when I first found them, I would have them gone in no time, so I thought. I was not proactive, please if you see any do not be me. I went to a big box store and bought some spray that did not kill them, but came close to killing me and it did not work. My next steps were to get bedbug covers for the mattress in two of the rooms where we saw them. This did not seem to help so hours of searching on the internet, I decided steaming them out was the best way! This was no issue as we just moved into this home and I had to rip down tons of wallpaper with a steamer. I steamed walls, steamed floors, steamed curtains and those damned things were still there in both rooms. It finally hit me, I need to get rid of the carpet in the master bedroom and put floor down, which I did. This did not work. I then thought okay, let me take off the bedbug covers and wash them (NEVER DO THIS), what a mistake they were back in full force. Back to Amazon ordering new bedbug covers to never remove. I then decided to buy the most expensive bedbug killer listed on Amazon that should do the trick, this stuff has residual killing. House got sprayed and we went off on 7 day cruise. I am so excited when I got home, by this time it has been about 7 month of us sleeping on the sofa or in our RV. I rewashed the sheets and comforter that we had packed in black trash bags. Living in Florida those bugs should be dead right as they were stored in garage. I put the clean sheets on and snuggled down. When I woke up I had never seen so many bedbugs all over my bed, all over me, and possible eating at my dog. That was it, my 30 years of marriage was about over as we had not slept in same bed for almost a year. Nothing I have done has worked. I called Orkin out to evaluate the house. With his flashlight (that was the same as mine) he showed me that they were in my curtains, my chair and every frickin where. For a small price...cough... of $5,000.00 they thought that would cover the price to tent my home. Had I used alcohol he asked me? No I had not. Don't bother with the alcohol. Here is what I finally did to get us almost bedbug free. They say don't buy a new mattress but after almost 30 years of marriage and sleeping on the same mattress I ordered a new one, it was immediately covered with the bedbug covers before it made its way to the master bedroom. I researched even more ( I am a walking encyclopedia about bedbugs). I threw out all of our bedding and pillows. I bought new sheets, new pillows for every room but my sons (don't make this mistake, those bugs travel) and after reading the review I purchased EcoRAider. The first night after I sprayed the bugs were greatly reduced. Unfortunately that is when my son noticed the bedbugs were in his room also, so I immediately ordered bedbug covers, new sheets ect... Were they gone after that, no. I don't know if there is anything that is an immediate fix. I have been spraying EcoRaider everyday around the beds, on the beds, on the pillows, on the base boards and have seen results that I could not find from any other product. I have been spraying daily for about two weeks, and there are some days I see nothing! I need another gallon jug of this fabulous product. It has no smell, my dogs and kids are good. My husband and I have moved back into our bedroom. My kids rooms I have not seen one single bedbug. This has been a very expensive war for me, and I swear this product would get a 5 star out of 5 except it does not come with a sprayer. I had to use a old sprayer out of an old bottle of the non working bug bed spray that I had left over. Hope this helps you in your nasty journey. Buy this product.
