Cheaper Do It Yourself Boba
So I occasionally get into a boba mood and I'll just crave it. Luckily, they make this DIY version for home. I saw it in the store and tried a few flavors out. Each box is enough for three servings. While the instructions seem simple, I found there are some nuances to the process to get them as close as you can to an actual boba shop. Here's my specific process: 1) Pour milk tea powder into coffee cup, add 150ml of boiling water, stir 2) Add boba pearls into the cup, then microwave for 60 seconds 3) In a separate 20-ounce cup, put in 300g of ice cubes (I use three huge ice cubes) 4) Slowly pour the heated coffee cup mixture into the cup with ice cubes That's it. You can adjust sweetness by adding more sugar, and even milk/heavy cream. The main reason I use boiling water at the beginning versus hot water like the instructions say is that the boiling water won't make the pearls al dente feeling when you suck them up. It needs to be hot enough to soften up fully. Of course, these are my instructions and you are free to try the box instructions first. Overall, this tastes like a shop boba tea at nearly half the price. Recommended.

Love it so much
So I absolutely love boba tea and almost any flavor for that matter. I love these kits because it's fun and it saves me from making my own boba especially when I want it right then and there. This is a product the whole family can do and my son loves to do his own. The price is decent and the texture was great. You know some have that gritty texture like the powder doesn't mix completely but the tea powder in this mixes well and I'm thankful there isn't the gritty feeling because I have a hard time finishing the drink because of it.

Chewy Bits of Brown Sweet Starch, Not Boba
They don’t pop, are not boba. The pack of supposed boba are only chewy tapioca solid starch with brown sugar cane. The tea mix is good only in that it gets more palatable with the 2nd and 3rd taste, but it’d be hard to mess up black tea and powdered milk. Very sweet! Too sweet.

Disgusting
It simply wasn't good at all. It didn't taste like boba. The pearls were hard as rocks.

Yummy
Love this tea and the brand. Great taste that gets elevated with milk.
