Strawberries: yum ; Chunky and Sour: uh no thanks
Apparently it's supposed to be sour and a bit chunky but it didn't agree with my system and I personally wouldn't drink it again.

Taste's great.
I purchased this at my grocery store. I bought blueberry, strawberry, mixed berry and plain.I used to make my own kefir, which is absolutely delicious if you add fruit to it. It tastes a lot like yogurt. I don't like plain yogurt, so I always added fruit to my kefir. This kefir is much thinner and sweeter than homemade kefir. It has a lot of added sugar which is disappointing because I really wanted buy this regularly, but I try to avoid added sugars. They add organic (yay) cane sugar. It has 18g of total sugars. My kefir had to be eaten with a spoon like yogurt. There's no way you could drink it...and that's why this was so appealing. Homemade kefir is a neverending commitment if you want to keep your culture alive. And you need to have whole milk constantly available too. I would be happier if it was something you could make once a month, but it's not. This kefir tastes delicious and if you're okay with the 18g of sugar and like fruited yogurt, you will like this. It's fruit flavors, not added fresh fruit so there's no fruit chunks. That would be impossible to drink.Like I said, I bought mine at my local Kroger for $3.29 - $4.29 for each quart. I think that's a great price for a quart of kefir. I really like this, but am going to have to think long and hard about buying more because of the added sugar.I posted the ingredient label off my mixed berry (delicious) bottle.

Terrible
It is so thin, no effervescence, an sour as a lemon. I wasnt looking for sweet but pleasant at least. I would not recommend this to anyone. It falls to far to even be considered in the running for even top 10. It wouldn't make top 50 . It horriblr

Tastes good, but the fizzy sort of feeling is weird ...
Weirdest drink i've ever had. Accidentally bought this at a grocery store thinking it was a regular yogurt strawberry smoothie. Boy, was i wrong. Tastes good, but the fizzy sort of feeling is weird to me. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Going downhill
I have used this product for several years. What has happened recently is that the bottle is now a much lighter pink and along with it the product itself is much more watery! Bad move!

DOA - bacteria Dead on Arrival
I didn't buy this particular flavor but my comments have to do with the quality of the product itself. It does not taste like a quality kefir. It is thin, lacks a definite lactic acid flavor, and also lacks the effervescence that comes from the yeast in the culture. I tried using some to culture some kefir, which I've done with other brands before. LifeWay does not have enough live active bacteria to culture.

A Delicious Probiotic Lowfat and Low Calorie Treat
If you're looking for a great, nutritious yogurt type product, you might like to try this strawberry lowfat kefir which you can drink or eat from a cup with a spoon. I learned about kefir in the book The 17 Day Diet: A Doctor's Plan Designed for Rapid Results. A nutritionist recommended having protein for breakfast and combining protein with fruit such as berries. I love to make fruit smoothies with this kefir: one banana, one cup frozen berries, 1/2 cup kefir and 1/2 cup berry juice or 1/2 cup seltzer for fewer calories and grams of sugar. Protein keeps you from getting hungry said the nutritionist. This strawberry kefir is great to drink for breakfast or when you don't have time to make a smoothie in the morning. This strawberry flavor is one of my favorite flavors. This kefir is probiotic with 10 different kinds of bacteria, and is naturally cultured. Kefir provides 25% of Vitamin D, 30% Calcium and 11g of Protein. The plain low-fat yogurt I buy has 15g of sugar per cup and this kefir has 20g of sugar in a cup -- which is less than most juices. It's a great breakfast, lunch or snack option. A cup is about 140 calories. If you are looking for a healthy and tasty probiotic food that is high in protein and other nutritious ingredients, while being low in calories, you might want to try this tasty product.
