Helped to figure out what keys to play after I started taking up piano again after 25 years!

These help my beginner kid keep the right fingers on the right keys while practicing. He likes them because he can tell the other kids sound effects by letter in the sound effects sets. His instructor dislikes them, because she thinks they're a crutch, and wants him to learn the hard way. I like them because I feel like he progresses through his lessons faster without having to stop and think about which fingers go on which keys.First, they arrived creased. Packaging is a thick envelope with a sticker sheet, instruction sheet, and a corn dog sized wooden stick. It arrived in a padded envelope with another item. The padded envelope was folded lengthwise and stuffed in the mailbox. The middle stickers were bent, but straightened out okay enough when left under some heavy books for a few weeks.I did not follow the instructions, which said to start at the highest note and work down. I started at middle C and went up, to make sure that the bent stickers would adhere properly. The higher notes have a longer sticker, which wouldn't fit on the key while keeping the note names in line. The good thing is, the stickers will come off and re-adhere. The bad thing, at least in this case, is they have adhesive (not merely window cling), and were difficult to remove. I first tried a hobby knife, but scratched the keys. Next I whittled the stick to an edge, and used that to pry up the corners of the stickers. That worked great. I do like the adhesive, just made it more difficult for me. Had I followed the instructions, I would have been fine.The corn dog stick was the perfect width for placing the stickers. The stickers were the perfect width to cover the key well without having to be exact. Middle C is circled twice, making it easier to find. The colors help me point things out to my kids easier. I like the style that goes inbetween the black keys, so we can see them with his fingers in ready position.I don't like that the stickers are different heights. Even if I had followed the instructions, it was tough to keep the note names in line. I ended up setting up a tripod with a laser level to throw a line, because I'm anal retentive like that. I don't like that the stickers don't have treble and bass clef on them. I don't like the choice of colors; would have rather seen a ROYGBIV rainbow palette, since all the kids learn the colors in order in school anyhow.All the negatives were known before I bought the kit. I think the adhesive adds value, but the inadequate packaging and different sized stickers frustrated me.

I like the colours, the durability, and they were easy enough to place. However I would prefer them to be larger = easier to read.

I use these stickers as reminders and memory note reinforcement for my piano students. They are thinner than other stickers I’ve seen and used, perfect for mounting them farther away from the playing surfaces of the keys and out of the way of advanced students that share the pianos we use. When removed, little to no residue, and if careful can be used again. Highly recommended.

When I was a child, my aunt had a piano and this great cardboard piece that went behind the keys to help me learn how to play simple songs. Fast forward to many years later where I want to rekindle my relationship with the piano. This is the adult version that reminds me which keys I should be playing! Stickers are small enough to be visible but not overwhelming on the keys. They fit up close to the top portion of the keys so your fingers don't cover them up while playing. They are easy to remove and cover a variety of size keyboards. They shipped quickly! They are not a substitute for a good music teacher but it is giving me a great refresher!

I purchased these to put on my keyboard to learn how to play. They are a great help to finding the keys. They are made of a nice plastic that goes on easy and looks like they will come off easy. Have had them on about a month, and I play with the keyboard several times a day and they have not budged.Still holding good.

I was expecting a 88 notes stickers so it didn't meet my wish but maybe I made a mistake when ordering this merchandise
