Warm ears without messing up your hair. Perfect!
It is cold and WINDY where I live, and the walk to and from the train station was leaving my ears in icy pain. Sadly, I'm vain and concerned about my hair getting messed up, so hats or hoods were out of the question. Enter this product. These earmuffs are incredibly warm. Like, if I walk too vigorously with it on, my ears will end up sweating. MY EARS! They fit nicely around the back of my head. They are a little longer between the earmuffs than I would like (stands off my head), but the upside is they don't mess up your hair at all. Folds to a decent size for storage at your destination, but they are not perfectly flat or anything close to it. They do slide down slightly if worn long enough. Not enough to uncover my ears, but enough that I notice they didn't finish where they started.Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with these earmuffs. They look classy. They are VERY warm. They block wind as well as provide insulation. And they don't mess up your hair. Solid choice for making winter walks much less painful.

For Big Heads and Insensitive Ears
I had an ancient pair of adjustable, foldable earmuffs that I loved but they finally broke. They weren't thickly padded (which I liked), were very plain in appearance and folded up quite compactly to easily fit in a jacket pocket. I loved them. I purchased them at a local sporting goods store so you know this was years ago. (Apparently the brand went out of business since I couldn't find it online.) I might have to try my luck at my local REI (if the store still exists) because these new earmuffs, and most all others listed on Amazon that I checked out, are a) much too large for my small head (Seriously, how big can ears get? Isn't that what the adjustable neck band is for?) and b) uncomfortable! They actually hurt my ears despite the padding. In fact, the thicker padding is on the outside and not on the inside. The ear-side, faux fur padding doesn't provide enough of a barrier between the hard plastic material that sits on the ear.Maybe the non-articulated, stretchy band will relax in time if I keep wearing the earmuffs so that the plastic won't press into my ears so much. Maybe. Even so, these are so large when folded that you will still need a very big jacket pocket to hold them. One size does not fit all.

Works
The only complain is that is a bit small, but it cover up the ears just fine, also it does not keep you from hearing what's around you, so you won't suffer from muzzle sounds when wearing it. You will be able to hear people talking to you very well while having them on you.

Way too tight, uncomfortable
Looks nice and warm, however way too tight and hurts my ears. I have an average size male head and have never had a problem with other brands. The inner parts are plastic so no flexibility.

Super Warm
these are by far the warmest ear muffs I have owned. only draw back is they are a little bulky to wear under your hair and don't adjust to wear on top of your head. But for the warmth I will take these over my others. I would recommend.

Very warn
Love them and they keep my ears very warm without messing up my hair. A little tight but think use will work that out.

Expensive for what it is but they're okay
When my hair is down I find that the ear muffs slip off and don't stay in place whatsoever but when my hair is in a bun or ponytail it works well. Not perfect but stays in place alot better than when my hair is down. They seem warm but I don't think it's worth the money. Wish they were cheaper. I think they should value between 10-15 bucks.
