Peanut Patch Margaret Holmes Green Boiled Peanuts, (13.5oz cans)

These boiled peanuts are quite tasty. I live on the west coast, where nobody has ever heard of boiled peanuts. Needless to say, I can't buy them here. They look like boiled peanuts, taste like boiled peanuts, and look like boiled peanuts. They seem to be of good quality, but some of them were dark, which I skipped. They were a few empty shells, and some too small to eat. I heat them up in the microwave for a minute to warm them up. They are a bit pricey for what you get, but if you are on the west coast and don't have the option to buy them locally, then these will do. Salty and soft but with some firmness, they seem to hold up well in the can. I will keep a hand on-hand to satisfy that boiled peanut hankering.

I got 4 13.5 oz cans in this order and I think it's a good price for a GREAT product!

Can was rusty. Peanuts rotten. Have ordered several times without issue. Yummy. But I had to trash this batch. No refund unless I return product. Pictures not enough.

If you love boiled peanuts and are unable to boil your own, these are a fabulous replacement. Found at our local Family Dollar store. These remind me of my southern roots. Delish!!

I love this item. probbly has to much salt. I think for the money it is over priced you can get these locally at any super market for a much cheaper price. Taste good if you like peanuts. Texture is just what to be expected. Wet because that just what thse types of peanuts are.

Haven't opened any of the six cans yet but I'm a bit concerned by the label. First, it felt different- I have always bought Margaret Holmes Peanut Patch boiled peanuts in person at a grocery store (or if I had a sudden craving at a gas station) so I'm familiar with the label, when I opened the six pack box and removed a can I noticed the label was made of a different materials. The label is coated in something and for lack of better description it feels like it was laminated.?.?. Next, I noticed that something looked different on the label- NO "MARGARET HOLMES" branding, instead of the all familiar Margaret Holmes insignia there was a picture of 3 peanuts.?.?! I hope this really is the Margaret Holmes Peanuts I love but am a bit wary, will update review after I open and taste peanuts.

Thank heavens for Walmart! Only store in this northern city that carries these yummy little nuggets. And recent health reports state boiled peanuts are good for us…. Roasted hard shell peanuts, not so much

Price to high for such a small can. Shocked when I saw the can size.
