I have only had this a week but so far I love this Vac! It's so nice that I don't have to go around plugging in my vacuum to use. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge and lasts about 30 min on high speed. I imagine it would probably last 40-45 min on the lower speed. I love the charging lights that show you where the charge is at and then it shuts off when fully charged. While using the vac, you can see how much charge you have left by how many bars (there are 4) are lite up which is a nice feature. Before I was using the corded dirt devil for my basic clean ups at night and then would pull out the big vacuum for my once a week thorough cleaning. The dirt devil had a short cord, so I would have to move it around 3 times to different outlets in our downstairs room which was annoying plus it didn't have the suction power that the Eufy has. We have 3 cats who shed a lot so every night before bed, I vacuum and this vac really gets up all the little pet hairs and litter. I love the clear canister on the Eufy so that I can see all that I have vacuumed up after each cleaning which is strangely satisfying to me :) I find Ineed to clean out my Eufy's canister after 2 cleanings because it does that good of a job of vacuuming up everything. I just use my larger Vac to vacuum out all that's in the canister. I love the light so I can see all the pet hairs and dirt on the floor as I vacuum. I find the light is very helpful so I can do a more thorough job and make sure I get up everything.I will try to update in a couple months time if any changes to my review since it's still early but so far so good!Update 7/2/2017- Had to return my Vac about a month ago because the spinner part of the Vac stopped working. The customer service was amazing and very helpful and I was able to return for free and they sent out a replacement right away. So kudos to the customer service of Eufy. Now the replacement worked for a couple weeks and the same problem happened again. The spinning brush comes loose from the motor. Instead of contacting customer service again, my husband was able to put a little glue inside so it doesn't come loose and grips the motor like before so it can spin without overheating. So far with the fix, it works. I do love this Vac but without the spinner part to get the cat hair/lint, it's useless for me. Hopefully this repair will keep it working.

We have a restored farmhouse. The kitchen and dining area is tiled in a light grey, almost white. Being on the farm we are constantly tracking in grass and dirt. We purchased this for a handy device hoping that anyone could easily clean up their mess.Our expectation have been exceeded.This vacuum has ample suction as the rotating brush helps throw any debris up and into the wind tunnel. But the real key is that it is light and cordless! We mounted it on the wall in our laundry room (which also has the same light tile) so it is very easy to go pop it off the wall and flit it on and make the floor look like no farmer has been tracking in stuff...lol. Seriously....everyone is happy to use it because it is so easy to use. Thus, the floor stays much cleaner and fresher than it would otherwise.Other pluses is that is that it gets under the baseboards well and the headlight helps you get every piece of dirt.Really, really love this machine. My wife loves it even more.We have used it about 25 times across the past 4 weeks of receiving it. And as far as durability goes....hey...it costs a hundred bucks. if it last a year we're fine with that. We are viewing it as a disposable electric broom. Highly Recommend. It makes life much easier!!UPDATE: It is September 12th, 2019 and this vacuum finally broke. (The brush roll in the head). All of us at our home are COMPLETELY satisfied with this product. With the life, the cost, and the performance! The think is....it is so easy to use and so effective that everyone in our home uses it almost daily. We live in a farm house with white tile on a working farm and we are constantly tracking in grass and dirt. This thing just pops off the wall and in 45 seconds the floor is clean. No kidding...we use this 6 - 10 times a week. So for it to break after 15 months....no problem. I just ordered another one.

I really liked this vacuum after I first started using it. It was great having the cordless, battery-powered functionality. I also thought it was incredibly easy to empty the waste compartment, it was easy to maneuver since it was so lightweight, and it seemed to work great on my hardwood floors and rugs. However, after about 3 weeks of use, it pretty much stopped working. Hairs would get tangled in the spindle. At first it was easy to remove these with the tool that was provided with the vacuum (a small safety razor tool for easily slicing through the wound-up hairs). However, the hairs became tangled in a gear on the left side of the vacuum. You can remove the spindle for easier cleaning and fixing problems like this, but I noticed that the hairs would get embedded in this gear on the left side of the spindle. As it turns out, this gear was responsible for making the spindle actually spin. The hairs that became embedded in this gear eventually caused the spindle to stop spinning completely. I wasn't able to remove these embedded hairs because the gear is surrounded by a casing that makes it impossible to access the lower parts of the gear. This casing is very tight around the gear, so you can't really get into the gear. I'm very disappointed something so simple could lead to this vacuum not functioning. I would suggest finding a different vacuum that doesn't have this issue. I thought I did enough research before purchasing this item, but apparently I was wrong.UPDATE:After posting this review, Eufy got in touch with me immediately and promptly replaced my broken vacuum with a new version that had an improved brush head. I am enjoying using it, as it is really convenient to not worry about the cord and the suction power seems to be perfect for my apartment (which is hardwood and a combination of rugs). I would recommend this vacuum, especially because of the great customer service and support that comes bundled with it.
