Makes racking soooo much easier than siphon or pumping. Works gently and doesn’t stir up sediment on the bottom of your brew. The glass tubes are delicate so handle carefully. There’s a tiny black piece in the base that moves to break and seal the suction that can easily be removed when cleaning the tube. Don’t remove the tiny black piece ! If you do find a YouTube video on how to reassemble it and spend an hour messing with getting it back in.

This is the best filling wand I've ever used. (Used three others over the years.) Only drips I get would occur from any tube dipped in a liquid and pulled out. -Easy Attachment to my 3/8" ID tube. -Long enough for those tall bottles. -Works with deep punt bottles (Which was an issue with all the others i've used.) -Ability to lift and stop flow while leaving in bottle is a nice touch.

Worked great. Made the task a lot easier. Little worried about durability of the tip, but so far so good. I bought this and a siphon separately (from same company) then I later saw there was a kit with a clip included. So, look for the kit if you need both as the siphon clip would have been handy. We filled and capped 37 12oz and 14 16oz bottles in maybe 1/2 an hour. Almost no spillage. Was great to have, easy to use.

This bottling wand makes filling bottles or racking my 3 gallon fermenter into 1 gallon carboys easy peasy. The only issue is that the spring doesn't prevent it from leaking entirely, there are a few drops that leak out when the spring is not depressed. Not a huge deal to me, but for others it might be.

Product worked well for filling bottles with wine.

Definitely easier to clean than a spring-loaded one. But it just doesn't work that well. It needs a spring. It's too late for me to return it (I ordered it a few months ago, right after bottling a batch where I needed a wand; but hadn't gotten around to bottling another batch and actually using it until now). It filled the first sixteen bottles great, and then the tip stopped closing properly when lifting out of a full bottle, so it kept spraying, overfilling every bottle and making a giant mess. This just doesn't ever happen with a spring-loaded one. Also, the tip isn't long enough. It says it's supposed to be easier to fill bottles with a tall dome in the bottom than a spring-loaded one... well, just barely. The tip is short enough that you still have to use the top of the dome and can't reach the deep sides of the bottle. Admittedly, it is easier to push open against the slippery curved dome than a spring-loaded one, but not nearly as easy as the marketing video pretends. The clip to hold it up is a gimmick: with a hose attached, it's top-heavy enough that if you rest it in an empty bottle after the flow is stopped, like to organize some just-filled bottles or to push a few corks in before proceeding, the bottle will just fall over. A spring-loaded one will stay closed reliably when you simply set it down horizontally, but not this one. I am disappointed and am now ordering a proper spring-loaded wand.

Works well. Is cheap. The hose is a bit flimsy and can easily kind but you can’t really beat the price.
