OHP FORScan ELM327-based OBD2 to USB Diagnostic Scan Tool with MS-Can/HS-Can Switch for Ford Lincoln Mazda Mercury Vehicles

This adaptor works great for 2015 f250 only thing is it wouldn’t connect to my forscan it was saying adaptor not found so what I did was went to device manager on my computer and there were not any drivers installed so I downloaded the ftdichip.com driver and it connected and works great.

My husband ordered this. It’s used to work on vehicles. He not much on reading instruction Manuel’s and he figured it out. He likes the features and capabilities.

Works great just a heads up it does take some time to set up but not to bad to do.

I bought this for use with the Forscan program in making some modifications to my 2017 XLT F250. It works as advertised. I've been able to remove undesired, and add desired features to my Super Duty. For example, I turned off the chimes that indicate when a door is ajar, when the key is in the ignition, and the 3 chimes when you first key on the ignition. Ive added the "Hill Descent Control" feature with the use of Forscan & the installation of a $12 button, which is a feature found on FX4 packages. I am in the process of adding Powerscope/Powerfold mirrors to my truck, and without this cord, I'd be forced to hand the truck over to the dealership for them to activate everything. This has also given me the capabilities to view & clear DTC's. It will give you data logging capabilities as well but I havn't gotten into that yet. The only problem I had with this cord is, when it first arrived, the locknut on the HS/MS Can switch was loose, so I figured the switch was most likely not oriented properly. It took a few minutes of trying to connect to the truck to figure out that the switches orientation does not match the label. This is why it lost a star.

Did not work very well. said was not compatible with most functions. Immediatly smelled as if were melting but that was all (nothing burned down lol) ForScan is easy enough to use but I need a better Scan tool. Upgrading to recommended Diagnostic Scan tool as I should have done in the first place. Reads codes and will clear them but not much more. OH and it ruined my friends 2011 Taurus tried to add a key. worked once and now no keys will work. took to ford the y got 2 keys programmed again but still wont start. Didnt make any other changes. Just tried to add a key.

It worked as expected, I was able to connect and communicate with my car as soon as I downloaded the Forscan app, good tool to check issues on my ford car.

Delivered as described and on time. It working fine with FORSCAN for my Ford explorer 2014. It is not connecting with FOCCUS but this is not due due any issue in the device. The device function is perfect

Fonctionne très bien avec mon nouveau ford Mach-e 2021 et un vieux PC windows. Vraiment très simple d'utilisation et le piton H-L fonctionne très bien. Le logiciel nous dit quand le mettre à H ou L. Bref pour le prix, tu peux pas demander mieux.

Package is simple, just a bag with device and CD. Device is clearly some kind of China import, HS/MS switch is wrongly marked (on my device it is marked as HS/HS, confusing but from original picture I was able to determine which position is HS and MS so I don't take it as an serious error). Disc contains driver and Forscan software, both outdated, but it can be easily updated. Device was used with latest Forscan and plugged to Mondeo Mk3 TDDi, reading and programming works flawlessly. I am very satisfied.
