This percolator is awesome! Coffee brews quickly, tastes great and was perfect for my cross country motorcycle trip because it is compact. Love it !

We love our coffee percolator!! It works quite well. The cups that come with it are okay but we have cups that fit on percolating platform better.

A pain in the butt too work, yes is does make coffee but out hunting and camping your going to spill as many or more than you get to drink. Cup does not fit all the way in percolator so when coffee comes out of pipe in a jet at boiling temp it will invariably knock your cup off. The two cups are laughable because at most at one time you can make a cup and a quarter.

The media could not be loaded.  Works great. I go hiking and climbing ever week and always like my morning and nightly coffee. Makes a very strong cup too btw haha just how I like it. Make sure you close it properly, see a lot of people complaining of leaks ect I can promise you you didn't close it properly.

I wanted to love this percolator. It just didn't work for me. First off this thing is tiny yet bulky at the same time, if that makes sense. Mainly because of the spout that sticks up. For the amount of coffee this produces it is not worth it. To save weight and space I would just use coffee packets while on the trail.The cups are tiny and will burn your face off (make sure you have a silicone mouth protector on the cup prior to drinking)As for quality the thing is very well made and I would expect it to last a lifetime.Making Coffee is a pain you have to get the optimal amount of water in it to work. fill the basket with coffee grounds close it all up, place it on a flame, put your cup on, and wait. After all this it will produces very little coffee (very tasty coffee) towards the end of the brewing cycle it will start spitting everywhere and makes a mess. After getting about 6 ounces of coffee you have to let it cool then clean it.Overall I really wish I had not made this purchase. it is way overpriced for what you are getting, Produces good but little coffee, pain to clean, and makes a mess. Not for backpacking.

I think is an ok product, it would had been better if the percolator had a way to make two cups of coffe at the same time. Taking into account that it is for two persons. But it is impossible trying to brew more coffee when the surface is so hot to touch and open the base. It needs to be added a handle of rubber or something to facilitate the use. Or just design a two cup percolator! Not happy with purchase.

I bought this for my fiancée specifically for backpacking. In that regard it is heavy. Two of our friends on the trail had lightweight coffee makers that were indeed lighter, but they didn’t produce the same quality of coffee.The fiancée also said it was a little difficult to clean on the trail.It also doesn’t really give you a warning when it’s about to shoot out coffee. And it does shoot out fairly quickly. After about ten uses the spout were the coffee comes out won’t line up centered anymore no matter how we tried to adjust it. Also, the cups that come with it are pretty useless. She abandoned those for a regular tin coffee cup.She is happy with it though, and feels awesome when she gets a more authentic cup of coffee.

Item arrived in damages very thin box and there is only one cup. Pieces are not wrapped in plastic and there is no warranty card either.
