This amp arrived quickly, so I've got no complaints on the shipping time. The price is also VERY reasonable for what you're getting. Believe me, I know, as I've priced these other places, & this is about average or maybe even a little cheaper than most places I've looked. I have to say, this is by far the BEST Voice Amp I've ever had! It's compact, lightweight, & LOUD! I'm a member of the 501st, & am using this Amp on my Darth Vader costume. For those who may not be in the know, the 501st is the Premiere costuming group for Star Wars villains. Actually, I use 2 of these amps on my costume, & IT IS LOUD! Did I say that this is LOUD? Ok, I think you get the picture. These amps are used in conjunction with a special voice changer, to give me the appropriate "DARK LORD OF THE SITH" voice. It sounds AWESOME, & I get TONS of compliments by screaming Fans at the Conventions I attend, after they realize I can talk! People have no trouble understanding me in the noisy & crowded halls at the typical Comic Book conventions. I should note that this amp is currently being used by a LARGE # of 501st members for different costumes, including Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers, etc...So if you're in the market for a really good, compact, light weight, & LOUD voice amp, BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!

I have been teaching for ober a decade now and I don't know why I never thought to look for something like this a long time ago. I just got fed up straining my voice over classrooms of children who don't listen unless someone is shouting. This way I can keep my voice calm while being heard. It gets their attention. It is small enough to clip on your pocket or waistband without falling. The battery life for me is about 2 and half days worth of class so I think thas is pretty good especially since all you have to do is recharge it. It does get feed back when you walk by things like sinks, desk, etc. This works great for substitute teachers because it doesn't get old to the kids. Going into different classes they don't know what to make of you. Works great for field trips. I think it is a must have for educators who deal with lots of kids at one time. Some of the money we waste in schools would be better spent on staff being equipped with these. It would save adult vocal cords, we would probably get less frustrated because we will be heard immediately, and most kids will respond to the louder voice so you won't have to yell. Yes, kids do get yelled at in school because lots of times they don't respond otherwise.

Used this for Mandalorian cosplay - placed mic in helmet and amp in ammo belt pouch. By modulating my voice, the echo within the helmet gave me the exact sound I was looking for. Attendees were blown away by the effect. Has plenty of volume to work effectively in large crowd at indoor show. My only issue is the microphone assembly. The mic element is connected to the over-the-ear holder with an extremely flimsy "cable". It was impossible to keep it in place without coating it with tape to stiffen it. Other than that, highly recommended.

I am a tour director in Washington DC. Many sites in DC are crowded, making it difficult for my groups of 40-50 people to hear the explanation the sites. Add in allergy season, when your voice seems to not have the punch it usually does, and your voice needs a little amplification some times. This little device works like a dream! It is compact, lightweight, and easy to use. It is rechargeable and the microphone is comfortable to wear. I've not had any feedback problems and I wear the speaker around my neck. Love the mp3 player plug in option. Great value for the price. I am so glad I purchased it, it's a keeper! It's clearly not an Apple designed product, but heck, for the price, this thing does what it needs to do. We do walking tours of groups of 12-20 people and this thing does an amazing job getting my voice to the people in back even while standing on the street. It has a strap for wearing on waist or over shoulder, Either way I can swing the speaker from back to front whether I am walking in front of the group or facing them. Very compact, surprisingly loud when needed. Solid construction. Recharges quickly. Cannot vouch for how long it lasts on one charge-- at least 90 minutes for our tours. Only minor issue is that the headpiece wire that goes behind the head and over the ears is too large (and I have a big head). Overall very good product for the price.

I am a music teacher and a professional singer and this is amazing! My voice would get tired and strained after teaching music classes- and i would worry about my singing gigs.. I have a big room to teach(converted chruch building) - and my voice would get lost, so i would end up having to project over all my classes- handbells, choirs, recorders and loud middle-schoolers. If you are looking for a low-cost way to save your voice and be heard, this is it! I am able to speak clearly and clamly, and every one( students too) are happy. ***********Don't let the price fool you, it is a quality product! ******** The clip fits niceley onbelt or pocket, the battery life is long, i am able to teach 2, 4 hour days without re-charging. It also works nicely to amplify an mp3 player as well .
