Ultra Hybrid Designed for iPhone 7 Case - Crystal Clear

I bought this because I wanted a clear case, not too slippery and for some protection of the phone. I have had it for several days, so I cannot judge its durability or scratch resistance yet, but I like everything else about it and it seems pretty solid. Easy to install on the phone, comes with protective film from the factory so it is not scratched on arrival, has a raise lip around the front to protect the face of the phone. I have a separate screen protector on the front, but the face of the phone is still lower than the edge of the case if it is put down face down, the face isn't touching. The cut outs are good and all the buttons work through the case.

This thing is great for iPhone 8. It is a good mix of protection and not-too-bulky size, it is comfortable to hold, and most importantly the color of the phone shines through. There is a lip around the screen to provide some protection so that you don’t need to buy a screen protector. The sides are curved and feel somewhat rubberized, which makes it easy to hold and doesn’t dig into your hands. I haven’t had any big drops yet, but this thing is sturdy and it clearly provides a solid level of protection. The “air cushion technology” seems legit. There are just a couple tiny drawbacks to consider. Fingerprints do get on the back easily. But if I didn’t have a case, they’d be on the phone instead. Even with the fingerprints, it does a terrific job of showing off the space gray color. You’ll clean it from time to time. Second, it’s not quite as slim or light as I had hoped for. It’s not bulky by any means, but it does add to the width of the phone. But that’s the trade off for the level of protection, so I’m ok with it.

Only had this about 4 days but so far I like it a lot. Very transparent and light but offering better protection than no case at all. The fit is snug but easy to use. The grip is not slippery at all which I was concerned about. I quite happy with it at this point. We'll see how it holds up over time. Follow Up: After 5 months of use I still like the case but the clear color has begun to turn yellow, especially along the four sides. That's the only issue I have.

Bought this from previous experience with an earlier version for my iPhone 6s in 2015. Product lasted 7 years of occasional drops and imaginable stress from travel and outdoor hikes. Thanks to its protection, that old phone remains intact to this day and still functions without any issue (other than the periodic need for battery replacement). Even on the 7th year (end of the "case's lifetime"), the case never ripped, fell apart, or rendered my phone unprotected at any point. It just started to crack near one of the buttons which allowed one of its sides to lift a bit; while the remainder of the case remained stuck on the phone. Because my phone often outlasts its case, I often get this case and another type (extra) from Spigen before the phone model gets obsolete when replacement cases become impossible to find. This newer version I purchased for my current iPhone SE (3rd gen) is not any different. As illustrated, it similarly gives my phone an elegant look without compromising any protection at its corners and sides; or adding to its thickness. The case remains very well designed and constructed. It may attract fingerprints and oily smudges on the outside (back panel), but nothing that a simple easy wipe wouldn't fix. For a clear case it provides a very good grip. I like that it does not attract much scratches. I may agree however with other reviews that similar to their earlier version, it may still eventually "yellow" or develop a less clear crystal-like appearance in time. And this is why I recommend this case more for darker- colored iPhones (gray/silver-color at the lightest) for which any yellowing of the clear case would not affect the overall appearance of the phone - even after several years of use. I imagine this to be a different story for iPhone units that are White, or very light-colored. For its simple yet innovative construction, and the protection it provides. I give it the stars it deserves for my dark-colored iPhone.

This case is very nice. I never owned the 1st gen of this case, but it appears that the 2nd gen has a more reinforced protection for the camera and the buttons are more responsive. I can't tell you if it's an improvement, but looking at the case itself, the camera looks very well protected and the buttons do click well. Overall, I like it because it covers the phone very well and it feels hefty. This is my first iPhone 7 Spigen case. I previously owned an iPhone 6 with the Apple leather case and the only con I see with the Spigen is that it is a tiny bit thicker and tougher to wrap around the phone vs the Apple leather case. The pro is that the extra bit of plastic makes the case more sturdy and able to withstand a substantial fall without the case falling out easily. Also, the Spigen is much cheaper. My only wish is that I can get this case wrapped in leather like the Apple leather cases.

Of all the various phone cases I've owned this one is likely my favorite. I love Apple products for their thoughtful design. This cover is very sleek yet durable and respects the beauty and design of the device so it slides easily in and out of my pocket. It also makes handling the phone nice. There is no sense in mucking up a beautifully-designed device with some cheap crappy bulky cover. The back hard clear plastic does smudge a bit which is no big deal to me but I've read other reviews that say that it does scratch over time - so far not the case for me. To be fair, I'm pretty easy on my device - so have not fully tested it drop durability but I have lots of confidence in the corner and side rubbery "rail" system that protects the face which includes reinforced corners to protect against a potential drop. You will want to order a good glass cover which this case does not interfere with. Highly recommended.

La funda protege bien, no engorda mucho el teléfono y se ve muy bien! La recomiendo mucho si buscan una transparente que sea resistente. Otro comentario que haré es que esta funda la he usado en otros modelos de teléfono (de su respectivo modelo) y suele ponerse amarillenta aunque se supone que es normal, por ser transparente.

Jan2025 Had it for half a year so far and despite minimal cleaning, it still looks clear and has not discoloured/turned yellow. It looks the same as when first purchased. june2024 It was protected by a sticker on both sides, which is to be removed prior to putting it on phone. It looks sleek and clear and durable. Grip is not too slippery. Buttons are still good to press.
