Pelonis Fan-Forced Heater Black Model HF-1008B (1)

This was purchased to replace a brand new Douhe brand heater-- the Douhe got so hot that just bumping against it produced a 3" x 3" burn impression detailing the pattern of the Douhe grill-- it got as hot as a fully lit electric burner. Upon getting burned, I got rid of the Douhe heater and ordered what I thought was a Pelonis, this one that I am reviewing here. The new one, that I am here reviewing, is running now in my bathroom. After just a few minutes, the room already has more heat than the Douhe heater could possibly produce-- the unit is still cool touch, albeit, warmer where the heat comes out, but just a bit warmer, that's it. Of note: the "Pelonis Fan-forced Heater Model HF 1008B" that ordered, is not what I recieved. This is a Pelonis knock-off-- it is advertised on Amazon as Pelonis, and purchased through Amazon (not prime), but arrived in a Walmart box, and I believe it is Walmart brand "Mainstays". (Picture attached.) That said, it is every bit as good as the actual Pelonis at less than 1/2 the price (16.00). I have had Pelonis in the past and find their products to be superior.

It is perfect for my use. With cool Fall mornings on the horizon, I don't have to turn on my heat or the oven to take the chill off, I just turn on my Pelonis Heater and it does the job. Substantial savings on heating bill and electric bill.It is compact and easily moved to any location in your residence.I love it ! Plus you get fast heat when you need it.After I bought it, I was visiting a friend and found that he had just bought one as well !

Good heater - small and hot. Has safety feature which is what I was looking for. I gave it a 4-star because it's a bit louder than I would prefer.

I use this almost everyday at work. It's small enough to fit on my cramped desk but powerful enough to keep me nice and toasty in my very chilly office building. The best feature is that it has 4 settings. Cold, cool, warm and hot. It was a great price and worth every penny.

I use the heater at my office and it is perfect to keep the warmth at the right temperature. It is also small enough that I can quickly store it in a cabinet.

I use it for my work place. It works great and keeps me really warm. The cord is long eydor me to put it either on my desk or under it.

I keep this Pelonis heater next to where I sit near my computer, works perfect, would recommend this to anyone who needs a small but highlyeffective heater

This thing picks a punch. Good for a small room but will not save you from extremely cold weather.
