Has anyone had any problems with battery life? My customer is stating batteries die within 24 hours, even if not being used.

Battery life is poor in my experience. I've been using rechargeable batteries to keep up with the demand. I can usually get a couple hours of continuous actual use before a change. The shelf life of the batteries in the device is less than 24 hours even if it's turned off and not being used in me experience.
