The case is designed well and offers great protection for such an expensive iPhone. I wanted to get the best case I could find and my husband has the Tech21 for his iPhone Xs. Knowing how much he loves his case and considering the additional research that I did, I am very happy I decided to purchase this product for my new iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was initially disappointed when I found that the camera cover did not have the microfibre cloth on the inside to consistently clean the lenses. However, I completely understand why now. The lenses on the iPhone 13 Pro Max take up so much real estate that it is impossible to design a cover that incorporates a cleaner cloth. The cover that Tech21 did design is sturdy and protects the lenses from harm, so I can clean them myself, when needed. Overall, this purchase is well worth the money spent, even with the Canadian exchange rate. I am more confident knowing my iPhone will last me years, before a new one is needed.

I was a little skeptical buying this case because of the lukewarm reviews. I was more worried about damaging the precision lenses on my new iPhone 13 Pro Max. I returned the silicone Apple case because the protection looked minimal and I cringed while sliding those protruding lenses into my pockets. This case intrigued me as it’s the only one I saw, and I looked at nearly 100, that offered protection for the 3 lenses. I am elated that I didn’t listen to the negative reviewers! The case materials look and feel great. Everything fits and functions perfectly. Besides the superior lens protection, it also encloses and protects the power connector port. I have had to dig debris out of that tight, delicate port on past iPhones. This is the one you want. Tough and good looking protection. ***** UPDATE 22SEP2025 ***** This case has been protecting my iPhone for almost 4 years now. I just ordered a new iPhone 17 Pro Max and was hoping to find a Tech21 to fit it. I don’t see one yet with the sliding lens protector and power connector protector. My phone looks brand new because of my Tech21 case and it’s been through a lot!

Phone protection is my number one goal in a phone case. I used to always get an Otterbox Defender, but they stopped having built-in screen protectors, and they had no camera lens cover. Since the new iphones have quite large camera lenses, I liked the look of the Tech21 case for camera protection. It claims to have an even higher drop test rating than the Otterbox Defender, and so far so good. The Tech21 case impressed me with how high quality the case buttons are. More tactile and responsive than the Otterbox Defender.

this is one of my top 3 cases! Love the way it protects the lens and is very comfortable to hold. I have the iPhone 13 Pro and this particular version does not yet support MagSafe, so that is the only negative I would say that it has....excluding this factor, I give it high marks of satisfaction.
