A wonderful, educational game in which 2 to 6 players (ages 7 to adult) strategically play down note cards, composing music without even realizing it. Rules have 2 versions. In the regular version, no knowledge of music is necessary. As you compete to build your measures, you can stop an opponent with a "Give it a Rest!" (penalty card), or play a note card to build your own composition, but in either case you cannot exceed 4 beats per measure. Watch out for Amadeus (the wild card). In the educational version players must name each note and symbol before playing it. When finished, all players hum the winner's "crazy" composition, learning new rhythms. Each game has both sets of rules, and great fun for the entire family! Students can play for hours as they become more and more familiar with notes, note values and music symbols. Great for pre school piano students
I use these flash cards weekly for a 5 year old piano student who loves to match them. Then I have her draw a picture of The Amadeus card & draw some notes on a white board using a flash card as a model. Familiarizes her with music images & gives her success. Have also used in a group music class.

Missing cards
Opened the decks and many cards were missing, only 6 key signature cards instead of 8 and no Note Name card. Very disappointed in the quality control
