Herb-Ox Sodium Free Bouillon Bundle,`Beef and Chicken, 100 Total Packets

I was searching for something that I could use when I want something hot that isn’t coffee, hot chocolate or tea. The packets are great. I always have some on hand so that if I want something warm, that’s flavorful I’m ready to go. I looked at all kinds of different brands and Herb ox was the most cost-effective and it’s an old-school favorite. It dissolves nicely in hot water. Takes the edge off when I’m bored hungry without giving me a bunch of empty calories. Even though it’s salt free, it still has good flavor.

This bullion has excellent flavor and we use it to season all kinds of things. We like the fact that it comes in individual packets so we can use one or two or however, many we need. Shelf life is great and different flavors are fantastic. My mother and I both have problems with swelling in our hands in her feet so the low sodium is a fantastic option that has great flavor. I highly, highly recommend these seasonings. I’ve purchased them multiple times and will continue to purchase them. Great price for the amount that you get.

Fits great on the stove back and is perfect for use with the regular bouillon cubes with salt. We use half and half and the salt content is much less. If you don't mind it being a little bland, its great with just a little bit of salt added after making it. Tastes wonderful and very flavorful.

Excellent boullion as a substitute for caffeine beverages and I may try some of them to add to my cooking, too! Checking the cost per serving this is a great deal IMHO.

Well, I wanted to cut down on salt, so I gave this a try. It’s ok for salt free. I do want to say, for me, it has very little flavor. I end up adding salt. HA! The packaging is super convenient. Pull the tab and stand up in the cabinet for easy, single packet dispenser.

I absolutely LOVE that this bouillon has ZERO salt! That means that I can have it and, I can use it on my puppy's food too. I prefer the beef bouillon. However, that has always been the "norm" for me. My puppy enjoys both flavors. I make one packet in one cup/8 ounces of water. However, you can add the perfect amount of water for you! I prepare mine in the microwave. However, you can also cook it on the stove top. It is all just a matter of preference. It stores well in the original container. I also used one packet of the beef bouillon to add to sautéed onions and mushrooms (as I ran out of beef gravy). Next time, if I was still gravy-less, I would add in two or three packets as one packet was not enough for the quantity of mushrooms and onions I was sautéing.

This is good bouillon and the packets are very convenient. If you want to cut down on your sodium intake, these are a nice alternative to regular bouillon; when I make it, I use a really large cup and like it strong so I use three packets. As was mentioned in one person's review I follow her husband's recipe– I will use two chicken and one beef – makes for nice flavor complexity – very good I have purchased this product twice and will buy again.
