My kid loves one piece and asked for these for Xmas. They are great

I have bought my grandson the series starting with 1 and now he is on 16. He absolutely loves these books and I buy them for him as he finishes each series. He really loves reading them. He is 12 years old.

grandson has almost the whole collection. For a Christmas gift.

This omnibus mainly introduces Tony-Tony Chopper who will join the crew as the doctor. After Nami gets sick shortly arriving in the New World, the Straw Hat crew quickly try to find land and a doctor. The crew sets anchor at Drum Kingdom where Luffy and Sanji take Nami to the only doctor on top of a mountain. Thus where they meet Chopper and through out the arc, they learn how Chopper and the people of the Drum Kingdom became how they were now. Like most, if not all, One Piece arcs, there is a villain for Luffy to fight and a 'mini boss' to show off Chopper's fighting abilities. The fights were entertaining and did not overstay their welcome. After the fight, Chopper official joins the crew and the Straw Hats have a doctor. Now the crew is setting their new destination to Alabasta!

A great couple of volumes that introduces some of my new favorite characters.
