It’s a great size bag of chips! Don’t soak them if you’re using them on a gas or propane grill & you’ll get fabulous smoke! Made delicious salmon tonight!

Having lived in Texas for many years where mesquite trees grow I have to admit this brand of smoking chips is the real thing. It puts off the sweet smoke flavor you only get with mesquite and makes food taste wonderful. Don't trust the other brand of mesquite chips Amazon sells. They aren't the real thing. This is the real thing.

I used till now only hickory or cedar, and when I used this one, I did not sense any difference at all. Might be that my taste buds are not that sensitive though. They burn nicely though.
