Fast and rugged unit at a great price.
This unit is steel cased, and very very durable compared to plastic units. Speed is much much faster than other USB 3 units as well. This based on extensive daily use. There is not heat, easy to use, and portable.

This thing is spectacular.
I got this not sure how fast it would be, because the last flashdrive I got was unreliable and overheated. This one definitely gets warm after use, but it is so blazing fast. I have been using it for months now and have transferred so many files. I am extremely happy with it. The solid metal feel is sturdy and resistant while also protecting your fingers from the heat when you reach for it. It managed to make it through a hectic move across the country and I love the USB-C that comes with it. My Dad only has USB-C ports so it's perfect when he asks me for my videos. It transfers Gigabytes of data in seconds! Don't go for the ultra cheap ones, they don't store as much as advertised, are unreliable, and slow. My Dad lost Gigabytes of data because of this. Get this so you don't waste your time, and start enjoying blazing fast and reliable file transfers!

P h e n o m e n a l & unmatched quality!
Anyone need a true SS 2TB stick, this it is! Tested on torrenting applications...just like you who are reading this is planning to use. Don't deny it ;) Positives Very fast, registers as a 3.2usb device. The speeds are blazing (untested) from a user experience only. Great heat distribution, this stick as you can imagine can get hot. The case around it is made of steel. It's created to cool down upon high file transfers. No other USB stick I found uses the entire stick as a heatsink to keep itself cool. My only complaint is not paying for copper instead of steal. Some users have reported that this can be modified in the future (outside warranty). *** I have confirmed this is a TRUE 2TB. Does NOT recycle data. Neutral It's a beast when it comes to durability and ruggness. It's a tough monster that is heavy. If your looking for something light for keychain, look elsewhere. Yes keep any magnetics away from this too. Negatives Hmm, no other color options? Copper would be a better more costly metal. I don't think encryption hardware/software is included (use your own).

Very Fast Write Speed that Does Not Slow When Nearing Capacity
I was in need of a fast writing, high capacity storage means in the form of a "thumb drive" but without their typical limitations. This miniature solid-state drive (SSD) was just what I needed. Writing speed with both small (in the 10-15kb range) and larger (a few to tens of mb) is very fast compared to the best and fasted flash drives I could find. Importantly it does not begin to slow after reaching about 50% capacity and reach a crawl at around 90%. The body and cover are metal (likely aluminum). It is therefore very sturdy and when covered seems immune to damage from careless handling, being carried in a pocket, etc. Be aware that this drive identifies as local (internal). This is [probably] done so that it can be easily used as a boot drive. Because of this, I had to make some odd and rather difficult adjustments to my custom programming that uses this drive as, by intentional design, it disallows certain operations to any internal drive. The device gets somewhat warm when simply connected (no reading/writing for hours) and quite warm during heavy write activity. The true purpose of the robust metal casing is likely that of heat sink. It seems effective as the temperature never approached what I consider "hot" for an electronic device. I have no way to assess the long-term durability and no experience with similar devices for comparison. Given the low price and essentially unknown Chinese manufacturer there are likely better choices for applications that find frequent heavy use.

Top notch super fast and durable after three months
I researched for quite a lengthy while before deciding to get this flash drive because of being burned by a name brand Samsung flash drive that would fail and no longer be recognized on any device. I search and searched, and searched, and read all the possitive and negative reviews on numerous flash drives and decided to give this one a try, and I'm happy after 3 months of using it. This flash drive is super fast both with loading and offloading, and it's build into a durable heavy-duty casing that has held up thus far and still looks like new. Additionally, it comes with a soft case to tuck it into when you're not using it, which is very handy with keeping it identifiable from other things in my bag.

2 years no issues
I've had this for nearly 2 years. It's been running proxmox for 2 years with no issues. I got this for high read/write durability. I needed something that was fast and durable like a standard sata or m2 drive but with usb connection and stiff connection (unlike actual portable ssd drives). 2 years is better than an off the shelf one. my previous ssd died in 5 months (granted the drive was 8 years old). So far no issues.

I purchased this flash drive for the purpose of running a personal Windows instance while travelling with my work laptop. I've attempted this in the past but haven't been successful as most flash drives do well with sequential access then fall on their face when it comes to random access. I'd previously resorted to using a 2.5" SSD in an external enclosure but it's a bit unwieldy when using my laptop in a small space (e.g. on my lap on a bench, on an airplane tray table, etc.) or moving around. Therefore, I decided to give the flash drive approach another shot. There are probably other flash drives that would do well (e.g. Kingston DataTraveler Max) but I was looking for a balance between cost and performance, which I think I've found in the SSK SD300. For small to medium sized files, it benchmarks on par with my 2.5" Samsung 970 EVO (in an external enclosure), even beating it slightly in some tests. Most importantly, it keeps up in the random access department. However, its limitations become telling when hitting it with sustained writes (either with very large files or just hammering continuously). It gets very hot and performance is impacted. We'll see if this has any long term implications as I see quite a few reviews about it conking out in short order. In summary, SSD flash drives still aren't quite up to par but they are getting there. For my use case, it works well enough and I'm willing to trade a bit of performance for a compact form factor. However, if you're going to be transferring large files or using it for sustained writes, this flash drive might not be the right choice for you.
