Hands down the best underpads ever made, if you lack common sense, you might think otherwise.
The negative reviews on this product are absolutely infuriating. Please understand that the ridiculous complaints are turning people away From this product that would otherwise greatly improve their quality of life, and ignorant complaints cause people to go elsewhere and spend a lot more money for a lot less effective product. This is an outstanding product at a phenomenal price. The lining is extremely absorbent and these pads hold an enormous amount of liquid, at least 32 ounces. The amount of liquid that these pads hold is far superior to any other pad you can buy, primarily because if you need a pad to hold 32+ ounces of liquid, you need more than a pad, for gosh sake! I have ordered at least 2,000 of these pads over the past 3 years at the time of this review. The pad’s absorbent filling itself is not gel lock like you might see on some wee wee pads for dogs. In that same vein, It is also not like a diaper, a feminine pad, or a swifter mop pad. It is like a thin pillow(?) where the filling is highly absorbent, with a thin fabric-like covering, with the bottom being the peach waterproof plastic you see. If you violently shake open the pad, you have a very good chance of dislodging the filling inside the pad and that’s what you see on some of the pictures. (If it’s a problem for you to unfold the pad instead of taking out your aggressions on it, then stop reading any further.). You also run about a 50/50 chance of causing some part of the pad to tear slightly (because the padding is actually thicker/heavier than you would be used to) and If it tears, you suddenly have stuffing flying all over the room like a slumber party pillow fight. The pad is not designed to be used indefinitely. I have only ever seen the filling on the pad bunch up after a day/night of use. (You know it’s not like the liquid doesn’t find the filling and still work just fine.). But the pads never come like that and the filling doesn’t bunch up just from shaking open the pad. If you keep the same pad on the bed for several days as insurance against an accident, the filling will bunch up eventually and you will probably not like these... but in that situation it seems like a lighter fluff pad, or a washable reusable pad would probably be something that would save a lot of money in the long run. Don’t misunderstand me - The pad is not delicate; the pads tendency to rip comes from the weight of the stuffing combined with being too rough with the pad. In 2,000+ pads I have never witnessed a defect where the liquid soaked through the plastic - I don’t believe it for a second. On top of all I have said, 100 pads of size 30x36 for $30-35 is hands down the best value EVER, whether you are looking for pads for people or dogs. You cannot buy anything of that size pad absorbent enough to hold 32+oz. of liquid for dogs or humans for less than twice the price. The filling soaks up the liquid so well that my dog will use the pads 1-2 more times in different spots than any other pad. I used to use 23x36 pads for the dog, but because their lower absorbency I would go through the case of 150 in less time than I do for these (case of 100). There’s no odor with these either.

Not just for people anymore; get these for your DOGS!
I recently read a review for a brand of puppy piddle pads that was by a woman who had found a squashed, dried mouse in her pack of pads (I don't remember which brand), and was so freaked out she went looking for other options. She mentioned switching to this type of people pad for her dogs and how much better they are: better made, better quality control, comparable in price, so I decided to do some research of my own. I compared prices for all brands of people pads to find the best cost-per-inch, and came out with these. All I can say is WOW. I think they're just great and am so happy I read that review! They arrive in a huge box, (within which are individually wrapped packages of 10 pads each, so they're lighter to carry and to find storage places for), but buying that large amount at one time just means that I won't have to order them so often now. They’re also really big when you open them out (30X36"), so now I only have to use one where before I would have used three smaller pads (24X24" OUT! brand). The pads are pinkish on the back, so no confusion about which side is up, and they have no attractant scent in them, so my dogs do not rip them to shreds now like they always did with the puppy pads. That saves me money right there, and helps ensure that the pads stay roughly where I put them (I've started putting a large rock--large for Chihuahuas-- on the two outer corners now, which helps too). Another bonus is how well made they are: nice and thick , no fluff flying around when you open them out, and the piddle just absorbs right down in instead of spreading out like on some pads (in my experience, the blue ones), so they can handle many more uses too (increased savings). Even my dogs really seem to like them better too because even though they're tiny, now they don't have to be so careful positioning themselves over a spot that's actually on the pad! They can just walk on and have plenty of space to move around and get comfortable in, so not so many misses now either. And the missing attractant? Apparently, not all that important, as I found out when my newest puppy, Sophia, pretty much trained herself to go on them perfectly by 6 weeks of age, mostly through observing my other dogs’ behavior and sniffing for their smells, and with some praise from me of course. For those with only one lonely puppy, you could use their own "smell" to scent the pad if necessary, if you know what I mean. In short, forget the puppy pads; try these for your pooch and you'll never want to go back!

Absorbent and reliable
These underpads are very absorbent and work well for protecting the bed. They’re a good size and don’t leak when used as intended. The material feels decent for disposable pads. I’m giving four stars because they can shift slightly if not positioned carefully, but overall they do the job well and are dependable.

Comfortable absorbent layer
Good quality. Upside of pads are made with very comfortable, absorbent cotton-like material. I've tried others and these pads are the best for the price.

Bed protective pads
So far all is well. They arrived quickly, accurate shipment, correct size and as described online. Pretty pink, plastic backing ( not that anyone will see them!). I’ve switched brands from a well-known company ,used in hospitals , to try these for the first time so I’m anxious to see how they hold up. The last brand got very thin and shredded too fast but these look good.

We used them for everything! (...but maybe not anymore.) :(
UPDATE--- 3/18/2021 --- Downgrading to 3 Stars I have been ordering these pads for 5 + years with great success, but at the onslaught of the pandemic in 2020, the product was altered and I am now hesitant to purchase again. Around April of 2020 I started noticing leakage with these underpads, which has NEVER happened in the many years I have been using them daily. Nothing about my use of the product changed but all the sudden, they were leaking to the floor beneath. I went through McKesson’s customer service to see if I had just been shipped the wrong product (as the packaging had changed as well). The representative was attentive but could not resolve my issue. After checking all of the available information (the lot#, barcode, MFR#, everything) the company could not make sense of the difference in quality (I noted that while both were listed as “heavy” absorbency, the previous packaging marketed the product as the highest level of absorbency, with all four waterdropplet images colored in, while the new product was listed as the third highest level of absorbency. I also pointed out that other product lines for McKesson underpads went from light to ultra. I reasoned that perhaps the manufacturer had switched to making PPE, as so many have done due to COVID19, and the new plant just uses different materials that produce a less effective product. But the customer service representative assured me that this line did not have an “ultra” option and that even the same manufacturing plant was used [and that sometimes customers associate a change in functionality with a packaging update, when really it is the same product and there is no change to the way it functions. Thanks for the gaslighting there, buddy! Haha]. They concluded that there must have just been a defect with the box I received.) They sent me a new box of 100 for free. So I am not writing this as a slight on the company, as they clearly made at least some effort to resolve the issue. However, the new set of 100 leaked too. I even kept ordering them for months after that, as I could not find a suitable replacement at my local stores. In the months I have had to keep ordering these underpads, I have yet to attain the original quality that I experienced for many years. I simply have had to double up on these pads to prevent soiling my floors, making them twice as expensive as they used to be to suit my needs. I wish I had a solution. These are still a better product than the underpads available at my local pharmacy or grocery store. But really, what good are underpads if they leak? If you have the money, I would recommend biting the bullet and upgrading to Medline’s underpads. I purchased the “Heavy Absorbency 30" x 36" Quilted Fluff and Polymer Disposable Underpads” and found them to be similar to the quality I once experienced with the old McKesson Ultra Underpads. They are more expensive for less in quantity, but I am out of options. ORIGINAL POST--- 6/12/2016 --- 5 Stars Some of the nicest bed pads I have ever had. They are very soft to the touch (unlike some woven pads that become uncomfortable to lay on). We use them for everything---- for accidents on my toddler's bed (which is great because they are soft on top and the backing is that tissue-like plastic, rather than hard or slick plastic that makes noise whenever he moves around in bed), as puppy pads, under cat's litter boxes, where my pets like to lay on furniture to catch the extra hair, even to lay down on my massage bed for oil or lotion massages. The size is great too. It really covers the area you need and I have duct taped them together before to cover a larger surface. I highly recommend these underpads.
