It's a Kitchen Staple!
Let me start off by saying, this is not the first time I have bought these. We have owned a set for years at home. When we bought a cabin 5 years ago, we bought a set for there, too. And now when my daughter was heading to college, she wanted a set as well. These are SO easy to use: spray them with cooking spray, break the egg inside, stir to make it scrambled, add toppings, and pop in the microwave for a minute. I like to put it on a bagel and add tomatoes and cheese to the top for a wonderful quick hot sandwich any time. It also works well if my boys want eggs for breakfast and I don't feel like messing up the kitchen. It is so fast that the egg is ready within minutes and my boys are happy. Again, I've had a set for years now and this is a sturdy product that works and will last!

Fast and easy
I am not much of a pan fryer so I wish I had gotten these microwave egg cookers sooner. I actually followed the advice from other reviews and that really helped me to use these well. The eggs come out so fluffy and I followed the advice of someone to put a little olive oil on the bottom so the egg doesn’t stick. And I usually add cheese to one egg and cook it for one minute. My grandkids also like eggs cooked this way. They clean up well but make sure you use something to help clean up the oil left on it if using oil. Have used many times and they’re still in excellent shape. Really good value for the money. And they are also the perfect size if you wanted to make a breakfast sandwich.. And I read some reviews where the top comes off and it leaks, but that has not been my experience. Would recommend.

Simple. It just works
It does exactly what it says it does. I take a little butter and coat the bottom, crack and egg, mix it up, put the top on and microwave for 43 seconds. When it comes out of the microwave its steaming, I take off the top, add some cheese, put the top back on and it melts with just the heat and steam. Scoop out the egg and put in on a toasted english muffin. That's all it takes. Product is well made, easy to wipe down and does just fine in the top rack of a dishwasher. Highly recommend if you're looking for an easy way to make breakfast sandwiches. Its a great value at the price.

It works, but.........
When this arrived at my home, I immediately gave it a try. Cooks an egg exactly as advertised. The instructions say to cook for one minute, but I only used thirty seconds to get a perfectly cooked egg. Now the downside. Not real impressed with the materials this is made from. Not at all sturdy. Just wondering how long it will hold up in the long run. The little clips to hold the cooker closed were broken off inside the package. That leaves a risk of the egg exploding inside the microwave. If you want to give this a try, it is well worth it at this price point.

I make a Cheese Omelet every morning using these procedures
I have been using this product for a long time and think I have some good ideas to share with you. First let me tell you a little bit about myself so you can verify what might be of some use to you. I am 86 years old, a widowman for four years and have to use a walker at all times. I also have problems with my back and have problems standing for over several minutes. I have a little “nest” around the sink, microwave and refrigerator to use the microwave egg cooker. I am diabetic and limit my use of bread so if you want to use the cooked eggs with some type of bread, you will need to plan how to add its preparation with what I do. I start my breakfast prep by putting down a layer of three paper towels to catch any egg material while preparing the eggs. This prevents having to clean up dribbles, etc. Next I set the red cooked base and sprinkle salt into it. Doing this I can see exactly how much salt I am adding. It is easy to see the white of the salt against the red of the cooker. I then crack two eggs into the cooker using the eggshell opener purchased from Amazon. This is the hinged container with a stainless-steel cutter in each half to crack the egg. The container is then opened to release the egg contents while holding the shell. I was trying to use the back of a knife to crack the egg and this is much better. After cracking the egg into the cooker, I use the “Stainless Steel Spring Coil Whisk” to beat the eggs. I have tried the push down rotary whisk and the standard whisk, but the coil whisk is much easier and faster to use. Just make sure to break up the yolk to start and use a swirling and up and down motion to thoroughly mix the yolk and white. If you want to make an omelet, now is the time to add the ingredients. I grate my own cheese since it is easier to mix with the egg. I don’t use the whisk for this. I use the tip of a knife to wet the cheese and thoroughly mix the cheese and egg. Now is the time to cook the eggs. I set the microwave for one minute for one egg, one minute and ten seconds of two eggs and one minute thirty seconds of an omelet. Yes, I do cook two eggs at a time for my use. While the eggs are cooking, I set out my paper plate, silverware and put the cheese back in the refrigerator. The eggs rise to a height of four to six inches at the end of the cook cycle. Air in the egg escapes and the omelet is about three-quarter inch to one inch after about a minute. Now all I have to do is enjoy a great breakfast. An afterthought. I told you I had problems standing for a long period of time. Washing the cooker was a problem until I ordered a total of ten and now wash them in the dishwasher.

Great little items
Love it. It does not have to be a mcDonald’s egg Mc Muffin. If you play with the cook time the yolk can be left a bit! Love my egg in the morning now. It tastes better!

Works very well, quick and easy to use and easy to clean. Would have appreciated some information on length of time to microwave for soft or hard egg yolks.
