Sconza Psychedelic Jawbreakers 1/4 Inch - 1 Pound ( 16 OZ )

I cannot express how ofter I find mini jawbreakers in candy shops, only to purchase a bag and be gravely disappointed. When I think of mini jawbreakers, these ones from Sconza are EXACTLY what I want and how I remember them growing up. The two key factors are as follows: These Sconza ones have a slight chew to them, meaning that you can bite down on them immediately and they will not SNAP like solid hard candy. The poor imitators that I find in most candy shops are way to hard (yah yah yah, I know they are supposed to be jawBREAKERS, but I like the mini ones that are a little chewy. Sue me). The other factor is the flavor. These Sconza ones have a subtle vanilla-like flavor to them. They are fully sweet, and not at all tart. The crappy imitators are not only hard like marbles, but they taste tart, if not sometimes a little sour-sweet. Thats fine if thats your thing, but I like the full on sweetness that these Sconza ones have. Those are the two major differences between these amazing mini jawbreakers, and the ones that I commonly find in candy shops that look the same, but taste/feels completely different.

I was deceived. These are not Sconza. Hard centers. Wrong taste. Not what I was looking for.

This candy is amaaaazing and so underrated. The bag was not so great for this particular candy and about 1/6 of it is on my floor, but pretty worth it.

Weren't like the ones when my kids were kids. Had no flavor and these were the small ones, which is what we wanted, but they were very tiny....

The media could not be loaded. These have an awesome flavor! They’re not quite your traditional jawbreaker, as they are a lot softer.. but they also don’t hurt your teeth! Yum!

I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the packaging was horrible so it was already open and spilled throughout the Amazon packaging. But I expected this because basically every review said the same thing. But I used to eat these things constantly when I was a kid and I haven't had them since. I still love them! Exactly like I remember.

Taste horrible, and they definitely aren't jaw breakers as you can chomp them as soon as they are in your mouth. Outer shell doesn't last very long and tastes okay but the center has a sickly pickle sort of taste that no one in my household could tolerate.
