Noticeably improved over OEM. That filter cap tightens easily and more importantly comes off easily as well. Looked hard for a solid replacement because my original Aeropress was kaput. I’ve owned it for 5 years and use it daily for my morning Americano or a double espresso. This filter cap and plunger work better than the original. Worth the $8 upgrade.

I accidently threw the piece out into the thick blackberry bushes when camping so needed to buy replacement. Perfect and reasonably priced.

After leaving my original aeropress sitting for several years, I found it tucked back in a cupboard. I had lost the cover for it and the rubber plunger was gross and breaking down. This replacement kit worked perfectly.

Only issue I have it that I need to be careful not to press too hard; it will come out the sides...didn’t have this issue with the original, but it’s also not a big deal!
