Wilkinson Sword Classic Double Edge Razor Blades- (Pack of Two)

Fantastic Blades for the price! Great for most Beards, Not TOO aggressive, great quality, and good for several shaves each. These are my Daily use Blades.

After shaving for well over 50 years, I got tired of paying too much money for multi-blade razors and still not get a good shave. I felt funny having to learn how to shave all over again with a safety razor. It was quite a learning process and I've tried a number of different blades including the popular brand that begins with an A. I found the A. . . blade to be very sharp but there was something about it that I didn't like and that was it was not smooth enough. This blade also seemed to lose a lot after the first shave. I finally worked my way around to Wilkinson Sword Blades and was pleasantly surprised to find that not only were they sharp enough but they were relatively the smoothest blade I had ever tried. I don't have a particularly heavy beard but I do have sensitive skin. For the most part, I shave every other day unless there is a special occasion inbetween. I remove the Wilkinson blade that I'm using, rinse it, and dry it after every shave. I change to a new blade every 2 weeks and can easily get 7 or 8 shaves out of the same blade. I understand that opinions on blades can vary widely from user to user but IMO, Wilkinson Sword Blades are the best out there for sharpness, smoothness and overall value.

After trying the Astra Superior Platinum and the Personna Platinum, I have settled on Wilkinson. I have a light beard and tender skin. Even more so that I am in my 70's. The Astra and Personna were just too sharp - I always got nicks and cuts. The Wilkinson definitely feel smoother and glide effortlessly across the skin. If price is an issue, I think the Parker Premium Platinum work well and are more affordable. I don't think that they are quite as smooth as the Wilkinson but are very close. Perhaps a little sharper but definitely not as aggressive as the Astra or Personna. I'm sticking with Wilkinson. I use the Geo. Trumper Coconut shave cream. The coconut oil really creates a smooth gliding surface. More expensive than Creemo or Harry's but worth it to me. The tub is definitely a better buy than the smaller tube.

My husband shaves with a razor that requires these double edge blades. The Wilkinson brand works great. It’s not easy to find these razor blades locally, and Amazon delivery works great!

This is a top quality DE razor blade, made in Germany. Not as aggressive as a Feather blade or BIC. Smooth shaving experience with little to no nicks at all. I get 3 - 4 shave per blade too. You can tell it's precision sharpened as it literally glides over the skin, especially so using my MERKUR 23C razor. I have sensitive skin and this blade with the MERKUR razor is the best duo I have yet! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

These produce an incredibly close shave. These are my go to.

this is awesome, i don’t get ingrowns or any cuts from this, you get close shaves, you just need to be careful from how sharp it is though, which makes it great. you don’t need to go again on the same spot, it removes the hair completely
