Great Floor Protection for Hard Surfaces
I bought this SHAREWIN office chair mat to protect my wood and tile floors, and it works really well. The mat is heavy-duty and durable, handling my rolling office chair with ease without scratching the floor underneath. It’s large enough to cover a good area and the clear design blends nicely with my room. The PVC material is thick and sturdy, so it doesn’t curl up or move around. Overall, a great investment to keep floors safe while working. Highly recommend for anyone with hard floors!

Great Mat for Hardwood Floor - Concerned about Slipping? *READ THIS*
I’m taking a few minutes to write a review based on reaction from some of the other reviews I saw posted when I was shopping for a chair mat.I wanted to help out people that may be stressing out from some saying “looks nice but slides all over”. It doesn’t, read below to help you decide.I have been working from my home office for the last few months. So I needed a mat to put down on my hardwood floors to protect them from wear from my office chair.I wanted a clear mat so it doesn’t detract from the hard wood flooring. I also wanted one with a “lip” to go under the desk for my feet as well as a surface area for the chair. I found this 47”x36” one in the SHAREWIN Chair Mats for hard wood floors. Price was great at $26.99 and perfect footprint for looks and performance in a home office. So what’s the problem? Well, I kept seeing mixed reviews...some satisfied but some saying it slips and moves around too much. Oh no..who wants a chair mat that slips and moves around. Argh!Well, I decided to take a chance. I mean, at that price, it’s not a huge deal if it doesn’t work out. So, I place the order, I get the mat and now it’s time to put it to the test.First I unroll the mat and lay it down to straighten out and “uncurl”. They are shipped rolled up and wrapped, so they have to settle and lay down (time varies but usually by morning at room temperature they are flat). I put books on the corners of mine to help it flatten out. As I was doing that I did notice it seemed to slide around a bit. But, I gave it overnight to settle. The next day I pick up the books and it’s nice and flat. Now it’s on to the “slipping” test. I place it in front of my desk and *important* put the SLICK clear side down and the slightly textured/frosted side up. I put my chair on the mat. I rolled my chair around, pushed on the mat with my feet...and nothing, it stayed in place and worked perfectly fine...all day. Success! My search was over and I paid less than I had planned. Another great product found on Amazon.I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and still no problems. If you pick up the sides and pull up it will lose contact with the floor and slide wherever you move it. Then simply place it back down flat on the floor and it stays in place. Don’t worry about people saying it slides all over. If it’s sliding on them then maybe it’s a polish or coating or something on their floor (or they have the wrong side down). This mat itself has no problems, it grips the floor and works well.So hopefully that helps out anyone on the fence like I was about it. Great price, great product, no worries.

See if it's Right for You
I bought this to replace a heavier grade mat that had yellowed. It does lay flat but mysteriously shifts position over time. Based on other reviews, I think any bunching and movement may be affected by what kind of wheels you have on your chair. The tab part wasn't working out so I easily trimmed it off with scissors. My old mat, you couldn't cut with scissors or box cutter. This is very transparent and, for now, I'll just reposition it every four days or so. If you want a more traditional, never moves, never bunches up, heavyweight mat, then you might need something else. This is probably worth a try.

this will protect my floor from the casters on my desk chair and looks great
I was surprised when it was delivered all rolled up in such a tiny box. I followed the istructions and put a few books down.Didn't take long and the mat is now flat and ready to use.

Good size for office desk but the end still curled up
For the most part it does what I need it to do; protect my new tiled floors in my office and allow my office chair to roll smoothly over it. However, it comes rolled up and the back part is still curled after some time. I've weighted it down and leave the chair on it every night. It still curls up and annoyingly my chair can get tripped up on it when I push back, and then I actually have to lift the seat up to free it from the catch. It's clear, slightly shiny but not very noticeable. It allows the flooring to still show through, which I like.

Ships rolled up and is near impossible to flatten unless you are a weight lifter.
WARNING: This product is shipped rolled up tightly, to the point where the plastic is warped. In addition, its instructions require you to weigh it down on each corner for 24 hours, however, when I tested this, it takes a weight of 25 lbs or more on each corner to barely work and more like 40-50 lbs if you want it actually to flatten. Does this company think you can just find such weights around the house and easily do this, much less be able to lift the necessary weight anyway? I'm disabled and this was a nightmare for me. I've never bought a chair mat before that didn't ship flat.

Good mat
Perfect! Didn't take long to flatten out of the box. Office chair rolls well on this and it is firm and durable. So far no scratches or dents.

Great Value
Best value for a thin mat that will lay flat on wavy/textured/rough hewn wood floor. Works great in my home office.
