Pearl PB700 Primero Bongo Stand

Great stand. Very solid. The only problem is that the C clamp that holds the bongos to the stand just slides on the straight metal piece sticking up from the stand. The opening in the C clamp is slightly bigger than than the straight metal piece. This causes the bongos to move a little when playing. But besides that minor issue, the stand is perfect for playing bongos while standing up.

This is a good solid stand. Equal to stands costing two or three times as much. I didn't give it five stars because I think they need to do something to better protect the center support of the bongo from being scratched by the holding clamp. Two sides are protected and I added some felt stickers to help with this problem, but I think something like this or a velcro wrap would have been a help. Just a note that this is a standing only stand. It really can't be lowered enough for use for sitting. Otherwise it is good Pearl quality at an outstanding price.

Superior stand, like all pearl products.

This stand was PERFECT for my LP Aspire bongos, fits like a champ and super sturdy for a single braced stand. I am now able to configure my 3 congas and the bongos, as well as a 14" djembe in a very convenient array. Well worth the $$$.
