Arrived promptly and more important with all the parts and were well packaged

The forge itself is great, however the regulator was leaking from the jump. About to see if my smelting furnace regulator will work

Good quality shell, burners, regular and looks just awesome.Add says 2” of ceramic wool which was the factor that I was looking for.I worked in a melt department at a foundry for 10 years and we used this wool all over and used 2” and the 1”. What this is the 1” and doesn’t meet or overlap except on one end. Just wasn’t what I expected, was expecting 2” of k wool and that it would at least meet or overlap. Even though will put refractory firebrick and refractory again just wasn’t what I expected. Other than this it is a wonderful forge and looking forward to using it.

Bought this for my son's Christmas gift. When he tried to put it together, we found that one of the tack welded nuts (where each "torch" screws into the body of the unit) was double threaded. Seems to me that this should be checked prior to welding these parts together. Other than that, the unit appears to be ok. Also, some of the info is misleading. You are not in fact, minutes aways from use upon unboxing. There is no mention of the need to coat and prep the fire insulation to prevent burning and/or flying particulate. Which leads me to the fact that there is little to no information on proper prep to use this item included with it or easily available from the company. Very unfortunate as much time was spent searching online for proper set up instruction.
