XGIMI Projector Accessories, 4K Streaming Device

trust me this is well worth it!!

Got this with an XGIMI projector and it didn't seem to work well and was quite slow given that its Android TV. However, plugged into a TV and then a Hisense projector and it was actually quite good, although still a little slow but looked much better. So basically worth it for free or at a reduced price but don't use it with XGIMI Horizon projectors, although that is what they are seemly for.

Comparing with another device from a different brand the image is a lot darker for exactly the same scene.

Useful add-on for the horizon pro

Tried to download different apps such as BBC iPlayer and ITVx nothing worked - it doesn’t let you do anything extra than the projector so for me it’s a pointless purchase.

As the title states, by default, HDR is enabled and there’s is no option to disable this. As a result, when used with the XGIMI AURA projector, the picture is very washed out and has a green hue. Using a top of the range ALR/CLR screen too. Adjusting the colour temperature solves the issue somewhat but still any scenes with a bright white sky or windows creates an “aura” or a “glow” around the subjects/people. Not pleased. Needed it purely for Netflix but now using a Google TV Chromecast stick.

Allows you to watch Netflix, easy to use and simple set up. Need this for the xgimi horizon, for some reason it’s not included in the 1000£ price tag. So 4 star for that reason only.
