YOTOM Quick Release Plate L Plate L Bracket Compatible with Nikon D500 with Battery Grip

Fits my D500 + MB-D17 Battery Grip very well, however, I will say that the bend around the battery grip is a little bit bigger than it needs to be - But it's not a big deal.I can insert and remove the battery/plate without any issues. I'm able to still easily open and close the ports on the left side of the camera as well.Putting it on the body was very easy, it also has 2 spots on the bottom to mount onto. So you don't lose anything by putting this on, you actually get 1 additional spot by having it on. So, if you need to mount a plate or something on the bottom of the bracket you're good to go. (I have a arca swiss plate mounted on the bottom)It has a very nice coating as well, and feels pretty decent. For the price, I'd say it's a great value. Especially considering other L brackets for this are considerably more expensive.

I have used RRS plates and brackets for many years, going back to the Nikon D1x. The only complaint I ever had was the price. After reading the handful of reviews here I decided to take a chance.I just received this L bracket today. The fit and finish appears to be equal to the higher priced brand. This one even includes the small safety screws that can prevent disaster if the clamp on the tripod loosens a bit ... it happens. I also like that I don't need to carry an Allen wrench to mount it to the camera's battery grip.This of course is for the D500, and if available I will get one for a D850 if one, hopefully, makes it to my door.

I just installed this L bracket today. It fits my Nikon D500 perfectly. The battery for the grip is easily accessible without having to remove the bracket, so are all the left side plugs on the camera. You can also easily remove the grip, without needing to remove the L-Bracket. This make changing the battery in the camera a breeze. Look at the pictures I added showing this.The L-Bracket seems to have the same build quality as my more expensive big name L-Brackets I have on my other cameras, but at 1/3 the cost.Time will tell.... but at the moment I’m very happy.

I got it today and was very happy that it fits perfectly. Its light and very easy to hold with the battery grip. I personally modified mine slightly to allow me to use the BlackRapid T1 fasteners so I can use my sling and have an arca swiss mount ready. No more changing plates, no more working with fasteners. Just pure ergonomics. The open part for the battery grip seems to be a little larger than it needs to, however that's not a big deal. I somehow managed to order two plates though, so I'll have to get that sorted out. But this is a product I will absolutely recommend to my photography pals.

Was looking for an L-Plate for my new D500/MB-D17 camera/battery grip combination. I was going to purchase the "Major Manufacturer" version of the L-Plate for ~$190.00. Then I stumbled on this L-Plate. For the price, less than half, I decided to give it a try. I couldn't be happier with the product! The L-Plate is very well made and finished. The external camera "ports" are easily accessible with the Plate in place and the plate mounts solidly on my tripod! I would highly recommend this L-Plate!

This is an amazing bracket. Just put it in my D500 with an aftermarket Mieke battery grip and it fits perfectly. Very excited to go shoot with it now. Very good quality product that rivals the way more expensive brackets sold by RRS and Kirk. I’ve owned products from both of those companies and as much as I like their stuff, they are very expensive. The money I saved on this bracket over theirs will now afford me the means to get other equipment I need. Already plan on ordering a second bracket to put on my other D500

I had been struggling taking landscape photos and having to recompose my shot when switching from vertical to horizontal. A friend suggested purchasing a L bracket for my camera. After some searching I purchased this bracket and I am pleased that I did. The bracket is easily attached to the battery grip and once on I do not have to take it off. Access to the battery in the grip is easy as well as access to the left side plugs. The bracket is solid and fits nicely around the camera.

Works great! Provide the same functionality as higher-priced alternative and is similar quality.
