worked with memory stick pro
Sat 4/01/2017 1:30 pm. This "New Sealed SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo Micro M2" was able to successfully read the "Memory Stick Pro" from my "7/03 5mp Sony DSC-V1" digital camera -- which *numerous* other readers couldn't, even 'though they claimed memory stick ability.I'm sure I'm still confused, but as far as I can figure, there's the Sony (1.) Memory Stick, (2.) the Memory Stick Pro, presumably somewhere around 2003, (3.) and then a deluge of additions/variations, a large number of them with the "Duo" appellation, so the "memory stick pro DUO" is totally incompatible with a regular "memory stick pro" -- although for all I know this gadget reads them both, but I don't have any duos to test. ... I assume that after reading this paragraph you now know less about the subject then when you started, but this gadget DID read my memory stick pro, and I'm buying two more, just to be on the safe side.

Finally! A solution to my problem...
For a while now, I've had one of those all-in-one disk readers installed in my computer case and I've been very happy with it. It just doesn't work very well when I'm on another computer and need to transfer pictures from my camera.Yeah, the cap is a little iffy--it's a cap after all and prone to loss, and I can see it falling off the back end of the device after many, many uses (though I haven't had a problem)--but if you're used to keeping track of your flash drive caps, it's not a big deal. This thing is sturdy, very portable, and perfect for someone that doesn't want to cart around one of those larger card readers that have the cord. It's flash drive size and the green case is a nice color. There's a loop on the cap to put a lanyard through, but I wouldn't ever use it because it's on the cap--why must they always be on the cap? They really should be on the body of the device somewhere.Works well, was affordable, does what I wanted it to, and what it's designed to do. The memory cards (I use mostly MS Pro Duo) slide in easy and stay there...I didn't have to force them or worry about them falling out. The USB makes it easy to use on any computer and unless you're still using a relic of a system from the days of yore, it should work just fine for you. All I did was plug it in and it worked first time...no software or driver needed (and that was on XP Pro). I'm very happy with it and recommend it for photographers on the go.

It works
My new computer doesn't have a Memory Stick Pro reader, so I had to go out and buy one. This SanDisk reader was reasonably priced. It works as it should. My Windows 7 computer recognized and installed it automatically. I was able to transfer all my files from the Memory Stick Pro to my computer without problems. Some issues:* The Memory Stick Pro installs on the side of the reader, so if you have crowded USB ports, this might not work for you.* The cap has place for a lanyard loop, but a lanyard isn't included. I'd prefer it be on the reader itself. After all, if the reader fell off the cap, I'd only have the cap left hanging off the lanyard.Overall, this reader is very good for the price. I don't need a lanyard and I have plenty of room around my USB ports. It works. That's all I need.

didn't work - and not sealed
i got this, put it in my computer, the driver installed and then didn't it register for me to use the device at all. Something just seems suspicious. Especially considering the description said the item was "new, sealed"... throwing it in a plastic bag and slapping a sticker on it does not make it "sealed". what a rip off. i just hope it doesn't ruin my computer or have spyware or something. so disappointed in myself for believing i could find a product at this price that would actually work.

Love it!
I was forced to buy a card reader after losing my USB AV camera cable for my Sony camera. I decided on buying the card reader rather than a replacement cable as it was much cheaper than buying the cable. I love it and wish I had purchased it a long time ago!! It installed very quickly. I can look through my 100's of photos using the card reader much faster than I could with my camera cable. It is small enough to easily fit inside my small camera bag, reducing the risk of losing it! Great item at a great price.

Great for memory sticks
I have a Sony camera and, in traditional Sony fashion, it has a proprietary memory card, the memory stick, as opposed to industry-standard SD cards. My laptop can accept SD cards but not memory sticks, so I was looking for an easy way to get photos off my memory stick. This product was super-easy to use. You literally just plug it into a USB port and you're ready to go. The only downside is that I wish you could also access SD and micro/mini-SD cards on this reader.

MobileMate MS Card Reader
This card reader is great to use for my daughter's PSP which has a broken USB connection and only takes MS cards. Put the MS cards in this reader and plug into the PC's USB to upload files to the PSP. I looked around for others but this one could take all the MS cards, seems to be well made, and fits into a USB port without blocking another one - unless the ports are lined up where the card is inserted which isn't the case with my PCs. And best of all...it's at a great price.

Works as advertised!
I have been looking for a way to move my files from my Sony camera to my laptop while on trips and this usb adapter does the trick! I had no problems using this item, however, the plastic cover cap did get a lost a few times in our hotel room. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is tired of having to use cables, the special Sony adapter block, and setup required to transfer their photos/videos.
