Q: how wide are shoes? I need a 4E

Hello, Unfortunately, we do not make a wide ST1 shoe. Some of our shoes we can make with a bit of a wider last but not this one.

Q: My pair are stamped "made in china" but i'd read that they were made in portugal. i wonder if i received knock-offs?

Hi Jack, Thanks for your question. ECCO is headquartered in Denmark but we own and operate 6 factories around the world. There could be stamp from any one of our 6 factories depending on where they are made. All of our shoes are made with a technology called CAD/ CAM. It is how we make sure that no matter what country our shoes are made in they are all made the same, with the highest of ECCO quality.

Q: Can a waterproof spray be applied safely to these shoes?

Hello, Thank you for your question. Yes you can spray ECCO’s waterproof spray or any other waterproof spray that is water based.

Q: Is the magnet color grey or blueish?

There is a slight hint of blue but not significant.
