After watching youtube videos, it was super easy to install, parts feel decently sturdy, not sure how long they’ll hold up for the price it solved my problem perfectly, the door locks and unlocks good as new And if i ever need to replace it again its really no big deal.

Beats going to get your door lock fixed at the dealer that’s for sure. Product works perfectly just be patient when replacing the spring as it’s kind of tedious. But this will fix either door. Make sure u follow instructions for the door you’re repairing. (I.e. if you’re replacing the internals of your Passenger door lock, do not put the driver side unit in the lock or it will get stuck & so will your key lol. Be weary of that. Other than that the product is fine 👌🏽 Thank you

saved hundreds by dong this myself. it is a bit challenging but if you have a clue DIY-wise, and are not mechanically daft, you CAN do this yourself and get your lock sorted out in an hour or so. took me about 10 tries to load the spring properly, but as i have seen in all the videos on line about this kit, it takes EVERYONE a bunch of tries to get it right.

The kit was delivered promptly on a Sunday of all days! Perfect timing too as I had just removed the lock cylinder on my BMW E46 in preparation for the repair. The kit was as-expected but does not come with instructions. No matter as there are several really good videos out on Youtube to help you in this respect and I highly recommend you watch them before attempting the repair. Repair itself took all but a few minutes once I figured out how to reinstall the spring which in my opinion was the trickiest part of the job. Product itself is well made and also includes the roll pin which is not included in other kits.

works like a champ. A few of the pieces seem of less quality than what was originally installed but at this price I will just buy another if it breaks again. Easy to swap out. I save my old parts that were not broken as a back up.

This worked perfectly to fix my broken door lock on my 2001 330i. I just replaced the broken pieces and kept all the original parts that still worked. Can't imagine how much a locksmith would have charged to fix it but I know I saved a bunch by doing the repair myself.
