Red light applicator
I really am unsure about tis redlight therapist. Nobody seems to be sure how near your face to hold this. Holding it about an inch seems odd. But, if you use an face lift ( men) of your choice, use the red light directly on your face and use the heat generated, you get results. What does it? The heat, the redlight or the face cream? Yet, it works.

Poor instructions.
I was pleased to try this 'iKeener Red Light Therapy Device, FDA Cleared Handheld Cold Laser Therapy Device, Infrared Light Therapy Pain Relief Device for Joint and Muscle, Knee, Shoulder, Back, Neck Reliever(2x808nm,12x650nm)(White)'. I have a spinal condition, fibromyalgia and sore knees, so I thought this gadget might help me. I have been trying it on my knees firstly for a couple of weeks and have noticed just a slight benefit, that I could possibly put down to the treatment. I will try on my spine, although I can't really do that on my own - holding it around my back for the allotted time, myself, will not be possible. I am a little perturbed about the lack of accurate instructions in the booklet that comes with the set. I am holding the face of the device a few inches away from my knees, although I do not know from the instructions if this is the right distance. The whole instruction booklet should be a lot more explicit - it does not give me confidence in using the device, especially with the laser component. The actual device comes in a rigid, grey material covered, zipped carry case. You also get some sunglasses/goggles that I presume will protect your eyes from the laser light, a USB cable for charging and a three pin plug that takes the USB end for charging from the mains. There is a little white cleaning cloth that could be to clean the working surface. Charging is simple via my laptop and only took a short while. It will not work while on charge. The red light illuminates when you long press to turn it on and you can adjust the length of treatment time. It is lightweight to use which is a great help for me. In summery - I am not really confident in this device, mainly because of the poor instructions; they do not seem to be the professional standard I expect for a 'medical' instrument. Also the current price of £125.99 seems to be on the expensive side, in my opinion. Therefore I am only giving it three stars.

Looks great, works fine, includes instructions and comes in a nice, neat carrying case.
Product arrived on time and well packaged and in good condition but treatment takes time and I haven't had that yet. Fingers crossed it will work on my peripheral neuropathy and be a welcome back-up for any other painful conditions that crop up.

Works ok but no results yet
It comes with a nice carry case, charger and cable, full instructions and a pair of tinted eye protectors (which won’t fit in the case). You can set the duration of treatment, from five to thirty minutes, in five-minute increments. Although there is a lot of information online covering red light therapy, its use and potential therapeutic effects, I think the enclosed instructions for use could be clearer and more comprehensive. I have been using this device for about three weeks so far but have not yet noticed any significant benefit or physiological improvement, however, I shall persevere with treatment a little longer just in case. I have to say, so far, I think this is a little overpriced.

Nice feel in the hand
Quite an expensive product that doesn't come in a retail box, just a plain white one. But beyond that its quite a nice package. Solid box for the device and eye goggles. Instructions were a bit lacking and had to turn to youtube. Nice to hold and it feels natural. Overall it does seam to help with joint pain, about two days in I noticed a slight difference.
