Q: Does the lid have an attached brush applicator? Thanks.

The applicator brush is attached to the lid. I have found that you need to use something like a stirring stick or tongue depressor to thoroughly mix the sealant. The applicator brush isn't suitable for doing a really good job of mixing. If you don't mix it well, the sealant doesn't work very well on pipe threads.

Q: I need to seal gas pipes of my fireplace burner which sits hot in the fireplace. Would this do the job?

Q: can this be used safely on leaking faucet in kitchen sink?

Yes, you can use this on a threaded connection on a kitchen faucet. However, it would be easier if you used teflon tape wound twice around the male connection threads. Gasoila is better when you have gas or oil connections (hence the name) where you couldn't use teflon because it would dissolve.

Q: Can you use this to seal the pipe fittings for a gas stove?

I don’t see why not.....I used it to seal pipe fittings on my gas furnace last year and I’m still alive and well.
