Amazing! This cleanser somehow manages to do it all. It starts as a super subtle (but delicious) scented coconut gel, that when applied instantly breaks up my eye makeup- then upon contact with water, the formula somehow poof! it instantly transforms in to a soothing white creamy milk like consistency that nourishes my skin like never before as I rinse my face clean. My skin has never felt more clean, or more hydrated. The fact that this brand is filled with natural goodies is like bonus points because I hate putting all the toxic chemicals on my face the big brands always pack their formulas with. Love it. Yay NxN, where have you been all my life? My search is over!

(See UPDATE at end)I have had the opportunity to test out many facial products over time, including some that I have made myself. I was very interested in the natural leanings of this product so I decided to see how it worked.WHAT IS THIS CLEANSER LIKE?This cleanser comes in an "upside down" bottle with a flip top on the bottom. It squeezes out of the top as a clear gel which is neither too thick or thin. The fragrance is a fresh gentle fragrance and dissipates very quickly. As you rub it into your face, it forms a gentle suds which you then wash away and pat dry.HOW DOES THIS CLEANSER PERFORM?First of all, I have dry to normal skin. I do not like cleansers that leave my face feeling tight and stripped. I tried this cleansers two ways. Each had a very different result which I found interesting.BY HANDWhen I used my hands to massage the cleanser into my skin and then washed away with warm water, I found that my face was left feeling rather tight and almost too stripped of moisture. It was not nearly as bad as most cleansers, but I expected a bit more moisturizing.BY CLARISONIC AND SONICLEAR (MICHAEL TODD)Interestingly, when using this with both  Clarisonic Mia 1, Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush System, Pink  and  Michael Todd Soniclear Elite Skin Cleansing System in Hippie Chic  devices, my face felt a little more moisturized than when I used it by hand. I am not sure why that is. I tried it several times and I found that my face was left feeling less tight and stripped than before. However, as I said, it is not nearly as bad as most cleansers I have used.BOTH CASESMakeup was removed and I felt that my skin was left cleansed and not BADLY stripped. Applying moisturizer made it feel better right away and I had no ill effects as I have had from other cleansers.ONE CONThere is one thing that I really do not like about this cleanser and that is the bottle. If you can store it with the dark purple lid up, it might be better, but I find that occasionally cleanser seeps out of the top and turns into foam on the table, which is frustrating. I do not store it in the shower or where it is wet either.THE BOTTOM LINEWith a gentle fresh smell and gentle lather, this cleansing gel is a step above many others I have used. Skin is left clean and uplifted without severe stripping or overly tight feeling. I found that it works great with doing it by hand or with a facial cleansing machine which did tend to leave it feeling just a bit nicer.RATINGFOUR STARS for this nice cleanser. I like it, but I am not WOW over it. I knocked a star off of the rating for the cap which seems to seep a little cleanser now and then no matter what I do to prevent it.UPDATEI have continued using this cleanser with my Sonicclear cleanser and I have to say that I am really enjoying it. It is simple does not dry out my skin and does a great job cleansing with that unit. I just wanted to let you all know that this really has grown on me and I will probably buy it again in the future when this one runs out.

This is a really nice cleanser that smells delicious. Not a perfume or fragrance scent, rather a sweet, delicious, natural smell. It was the first thing I noticed while using it. I normally use a cream cleanser on my face & was expecting this to perform similarly but it doesn't. It isn't as thick. The gel does turn creamy, but it is much more thin & I feel like I need to use more. When rinsing, I can clearly feel the oil left behind on my skin. I'm not sure how much is left on my skin once I dry my face with my towel. It performs well, getting off my makeup including most of my eye makeup (it says not to use on the eyes). It is better at getting off my eye makeup than my usual creamy cleanser  Avalon Organics Intense Defense Cleansing Milk , probably due to the oil. I have very sensitive skin & this has not bothered it at all. It feels very nice & the smell is amazing. Overall, this is a very nice gentle cleanser.Update:I tried using this on dry skin opposed to damp (the directions say to use on damp skin & to avoid the eyes). The results were excellent! It doesn't turn creamy this way. It's like rubbing oil all over my face & eyes. My makeup, including my eye makeup comes right off. My face rinses pretty clean & I can feel the oil on my skin as already mentioned. I'm wondering if I would get the same results if I just washed my face with coconut oil. Looking at the ingredients, I think this might be something one could make at home leaving out the questionable ingredients & water (C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate).
