Tastes Just Like I Remember (From My Navy Days)
Oh the memories. I know this is not the EXACT cheese I had in the early 1980's when I was in the Navy, but its darn close. I purchased this package so I could try them all. ALL of them are great. If you're a "normal" type cheese eater, the regular will work for you just fine, it tastes like a slightly creamy cheddar cheese spread. If, however, you're after a bit of added flavor both the Bacon and Jalapeno will hit the spot, with the jalapeno having a harder hit then the bacon one has. I don't even like Jalapeno's but I like this cheese on a good cracker (I buy Ritz by the case). The bacon is not as strong as I would like, but it still tastes really good. I went through this package of 24 packages in a week (yeah, I know), but for a snack (sometimes I make it a meal) its just fantastic. The cheese is packaged in a "MRE" type package, they appear that they would keep for a good long while, its a solid package. If you're ex-military you will recognize the flavor, if you're not and you like "other" cheese spreads, you will like these. I suggest this package that have all the flavors, then pick your favorite (if you have one). This is an Auto Buy for me.

Yes, like beer and Milk-Bones, it is an acquired taste. Salty and cheesy. Ready when you are but kneed the pouch to mix prior to use as some separation of ingredients may occur. Dependable.

The best cheese ever, I grew eating mres my dad would bring them home, and the cheese was the best. A+++

Tasty and convenient
Tried the bacon and jalapeno cheese spreads. Both were equally tasty. The 1 oz packages are fairly small and will do about 5 saltine crackers. But for a quick and easy snack they are just fine. Be prepared to eat 2 to 3 packets to satisfy a lightweight munchy.

Awesome cheese and only 120 calories a packet.
I love that this is a combo pack. It lets me choose what I'm in the mood for. I lived on this stuff in the First Gulf War. Being a vegetarian, there weren't a lot of choices. This stuff and MRE shelf bread kept me alive. I would trade my entrees for people's cheese. I am VERY satisfied with this purchase!
