Works well on the traditional single stack 1911 mags in 9 and 45

It's just perfect for loading the last two rounds in an M&P Shield 9. This loader makes the problem with the super-stiff spring in new clips virtually disappear. Before I had this loader, hand-loading the last round into the standard S&W magazines was hard for the 8-round mag and impossible for the 7-round. Too bad this gadget didn't come from the manufacturer. It's best to load the first round or two by hand. That's because this loader works by pressing on the primer end of the previous round's cartridge casing. If used to load the very first round, the pressure plate in the magazine can cock backward. That's easy to fix, but easy to avoid also. The loader isn't needed for the first few rounds anyway. Before I bought, I read some comments in prior reviews for similar products complaining of cheap materials. I don't share that view at least for this product from this vendor. I found the part to be made from high-quality, modern polymer suitable for the function. I'd buy it again and probably will.

Sometimes simple is better. It gets the job done, the construction is solid. Its survived many a trip to the range and countless mags loaded, not necessary with smaller mags but can still be helpful, if you have large mags it spares the fingers a good bit.

This is nothing fancy, and I do think it’s overpriced...but all that being said, it’s three times cheaper than the loader I was considering and this gets the job done just fine! I’m glad I ignored some of the negative reviews. I couldn’t get more than 5 rounds (with quite sore thumbs) into either of my new M&P shield 9mm mags. Upon receiving this, I was easily able to fully load both. This is more than adequate for my needs and I’m looking forward to an easier day at the range!

Too big for XDs single stack. Fits loosely over magazine.

It works like it’s supposed to, it strong and durable, but........ What I don’t like is that the thing was 3D printed, it looks like it was done by a youngster in his bedroom, looks are deceiving, when I first laid eyes on it I figured it would break, but i was glad it proved me wrong and is pretty strong. If you don’t care about looks it does what it is supposed to do. If you want something you could take home to mom, this ain’t the one. 3 stars for first impression, if I could rate it twice I’d give it four for all around, but I think people should be aware of what they are buying. It looks home Made, but it is strong and it works just fine..

I have bought a lot of items from amazon! Some good some bad, some just not worth sending back. At 71😎ish I have learned to read the REVIEWS. As we know everyone has an opinion and that’s great but sometimes you just have to strikeout on your own. Thats what I did on this little tool! Good reviews bad reviews all put aside this (for what it is) is a great little asset to loading stubborn magazines (SHIELD 45ACP)! Simple to use and no collage degree to figure it out! A little pricey but still worth every cent!!!!!

Love it! I can now use my right thumb for other things. It's a two step process (insert bullet using tool, then push bullet back slightly) but is so much easier that using hands only. I used to be able to only insert 4 bullets, now I can easily fill the clips. No more thumb bleeding.

OK product but high priced for what it is. Took forever to arrive. I bought a Uplula for close to the same price and it was here in a week.
