it's salt and sand!
it's not all salt! it's mixed with sand! i bought this salt based on good reviews. now i wonder if those people who gave 5- stars ever notice the pink salt is not all salt at all! try to put 1/4 tsp in a glass of warm water, you'll see what i saw, sediments, lots of it! first time i thought it didn't get all dissolve, i drank it anyway. the second time it happened again. i drank the water and tasted the sediment and found out they weren't salt, they were sand! tried one more time, the same. i bought himalayan sea salt not sand! the ad didn't said "free sand come with the salt". shame...

DO NOT PURCHASE! Please read!
This is not real Himalayan salt! I am so disappointed. I put some into my soup and ended up chewing on SAND... It would not dissolve fully and it did not taste salty. It felt like sand. I threw out the whole bag.

It is maybe an Imitation of Himalayan salt, it is almost powder with some insoluble particles
I am use to bought different types of salt, sea salt and Himalayan salts are one of the most used in my kitchen. First time with Spice Lab, and in my opinion, this is a imitation of Himalayan Salt. First the taste: Its really salty, the flavor is very close the regular salt, if you ask me: it does not have the sutil himalayan flavor that you get when you buy it in crystals and get it directly from the grinder. The texture: is almost powder, but in some portions unfortunately I found some insoluble particles that are not pleasant in my palate. After buying, I do read some negatives feedback that claim that there wer sand in this salt I was sckeptical, but I do put this to a test, I put half of a teaspoon of the salt in a short glass with water... after mixed everyhting for a minute, there was some particles at the bottom of the glass, and the water becomes pink! thats weird. For me 2 stars because of the price, 2Lbs for this pricesis a huge deal, but this is not a premium product, I rather pay the premium price for the real Himalayan salt.

Never thought I'd be into those fancy salts...
I didn't truly appreciate other salts until I got ahold of this. There are a ton of other reviews on here about mineral content and price, so I won't go into any of that. I'll leave my favorite recipe with this salt instead. Easiest meal I make and it comes out perfect 100% every single time I make it. Grab a 4-5 lbs. pork butt (Boston butt). Coat the outside generously with your Himalayan salt. Place 3 strips of bacon on the bottom of a crock pot. Turn your crock pot on low, place the pork on top of the bacon, and forget about it for about 10 hours. You won't really forget about it because the smells will be too enticing. When its ready... carefully take the pork out of cooker and shred/breakdown in a separate container. Add back in the juices from crock pot till you get to your desired salt level. That's it! I'm Southern, so I love to pair it with collard and turnip greens. In my next episode, I'll be discussing ribeyes...

Definitely not pure Himalayan salt
This is definitely not pure Himalayan salt. I had my doubts about this salt when I first used it, so I made solé from it to sort of see exactly why I doubted it. After hours of sitting, there are a bunch of orange fluffy stuff was floating around and settling on top of the salt at the bottom. Also the water is a bit frothy at the top. I’ve never experienced this before in years of making solé. Also, I noticed that there were some cloth like fibers in this salt.
