SG4-12T-WW27 Side Pin G4 LED Disc Halogen Replacement Bulb, 2.4W, 20-25W Equal,Warm White 2700K, 5-Pack(Not Dimmable)

Bulbs were packaged well. A great feature of this product is the ability to call for replacements under warranty if any of the bulbs craps out. These put out a nice warm light which is nice in the living area. I also purchased the daylight white bulbs from the same company which work really nice for the sink and bathroom so you can really see when you're cutting or applying makeup.

These LED's replaced some T3 G4 12v 20watt halogen side-pin bulbs used in the puck lights under my kitchen counter. The 20w halogens are rated at about 300 to 350 lumen and put out a slightly blueish light... very white. These LED's were slightly less bright, maybe because they're 2700k and are more yellowish. The brightness is acceptable. But if I were to do it again I'd get a brighter wafer light. I'm getting old and need more light when I cook. But, again, the brightness of these is acceptable. The one thing to note is that these side-pin G4 LED's fit nicely into my 1998 puck-style under-cabinet lights. That's something I just wasn't able to ascertain when searching for a replacement bulb. Anyway... they fit and they work.

These were delivered quickly and as represented. The 2700k was the correct color temperature for use in a kitchen hood among other warmer light sources. The 3000k versions are notably cooler (white) and didn't pass the SAF test. The pins are quite long but can be trimmed down with fixture constraints. The plastic reinforcement between the pins wasn't necessary since they were well soldered to the board. Power source is a Mean Well transformer with DC output (& de-rated by 80%) matching the total light load. There is a slight delay on the light activation, but this may be due to transformer latency.

I bought these to replace my energy hungry halogen bulbs in my motorhome. Instead of 10 watts of light, I now have the equivalent of 20 watts of light by using only 2-1/2 watts. Well made and very bright!

I dislike really white (5000K) "daylight" lamps and usually buy 2700K-3000K bulbs. I bought these 2700K LED's which HERO calls -WW27. They are too yellow for me. I have no way to measure color temp, but these look more yellow than competing 2700K products. They work, but wish I had bought the HERO -WW (3000K) version instead. In any case, they arrived quickly and installed easily.

Very nice color though one disc was not as bright as the rest and I just discarded it

Didn't work for me. And very large & thick, so it extruded somewhat from the receptacle.
