Clearly printed, highly legible. Slightly bigger than pocket sized.
This hardbound book weighs 430 grammes and measures 110 x 170mm and is 35mm thick, making it just a little bit bigger than pocket-sized. The typeface that is used is printed nice and large, almost putting it into the large-print category and it is certainly easy to read, even at a distance. The pages are laid out with 15 lines of text and the lines are both left- and right-flush making the spacing variable from around a couple of millimetres to quite a large gap if the first word on the next line is quite long. Whilst this makes it look neater, some lines look crushed and others too spread out due to the fact that the font is so big when compared to the page size. The typeface is very legible - being one that is very widely used and I didn't have any problems reading it. This is a handy size with highly legible, clearly printed writing.
