I needed spoons for my office to do a luncheon for my staff with homemade soups, so I wanted a shape that would be better for soup than typical plastic picnic spoons from a local drugstore or grocery. I took a chance and order 50 of these soup spoons. I'm quite pleased with the shape as I have tested them out for chili and a tomato basil soup.They are not super sturdy, so do not expect to be able to press very hard if you want to eat something firmer like ice cream. I tried to cut a cooked meatball in half using the edge of the spoon and bowl in one soup, and the edge of the spoon's bowl started to curve while the meatball held firmly together.

My co workers are terrible when it comes to caring about the environment. They use them once to stir their coffee and just throw them away and then get another one and throw that away. It drives me up the wall. But the fact that these spoons are eco friendly really make me feel better because I am very conscious of being wasteful and hurting the environment. Only wish that the spoons were deeper.

We bought these spoons for a Mardi Gras party in which we were serving gumbo. I was a little worried that they may start to soften with being in hot liquid for a period of time, but they worked perfectly, and have that great soup shape for nice hearty bites of gumbo. I love that they are compostable. Highly recommend if you need single use soup spoons!

We have tried other eco friendly picnic utensils and heard our guests complain they looks cool but are pretty useless. These worked. No complaints, will buy again. We used them this time for ice cream.

Good spoon. Not a big fan of a spoon bending so easily. Other then that. I will buy some more

The part that holds the soup was too shallow, it didn't hold much. I should have bought the plastic ones I was sure of. So much for thinking of the environment. I will donate the rest to a school to use for ice cream parties or crafts.

I used these to serve chili. Very durable and I like the fact that I could add the used spoons to my compost pile

we liked that the spoons did Not have sharp edges and were better to eat with than those we've used before.
