These definitely turn your water blue. But its because it is clean! It smells clean and it keeps it clean for a while. Theyre not expensive. The product is pretty good. Definitely keep away from kids. My 4 year old wanted to help but with it a strong blue dye, I know it would stain skin and clothes. Its easy to use too. Just take the tank cover off, flush once, drop in the round pellet in the corner and put the tank cover back on. Thats it.

Once you drop one in the tank, it slowly releases cleaner every flush, and it really helps keep the bowl looking fresh between deep cleans. Been using these for a few months and they seem to do what I need them to do. They didn't clean my toilet but for the most part they keep it clean after I gave it a good scrubbing myself with a pumice piece. That was the key thing, getting the toilet clean beforehand. About once a month it'll start to develop a grey ring around the water line in the toilet but all I need to do is use the toilet brush and dip it in the water and run it around the ring and it washes right off. Keeping the water soapy with these drop ins means I don't have to do any extensive cleaning, just minor maintaining. Before I started using these, the toilet would get fairly dirty and even with the brush and liquid cleaner I couldn't get it completely spotless, just clean enough to tolerate. So it looks like as long as I keep using these drop ins, my toilet will be easy to keep clean. 1 drop in lasts close to a month, maybe 3 weeks.

They work great but are expensive as heck. They eat the rubber flapper in the toilet about once a year.

So don’t think this is to clean ur dirty toilet. Anyway, the products are okay. It makes your toilet smell nice and the blue water gives the illusion of it being clean. I didn’t see any difference in terms of it keeping my toilet clean. IT WILL STAIN YOUR TOILET BLUE. I saw other reviewers say the same thing. Your tank will be stained blue where the pod is dropped in. I was gone for a week for vacation and my toilet bowl was stained blue as well since it was not flushed constantly. It does clean itself away after a few flushes but it definitely doesn’t look nice. Overall it moreso gives the illusion of clean because of the smell and the blue. It didn’t really *keep* my toilet clean like it describes. I will be trying a different product next time.
