Verity: The thriller that will capture your heart and blow mind

I loved this book so much. The plot twist, the characters just kept me glued to it to know what happens next. I'm still conflicted between team manuscript or team letter. When you pick this book up DON'T READ IT AT NIGHT!! It will creep you out. A bit of SPOILER! Verity is an author and is married to Jeremy and they have 3 children but the twins die and things take a turn for the worst. Verity is bed ridden after her accident and can't finish her remaining 3 series,so Jeremy talks with her publisher to hire another author to finish the series for her and he goes to the meeting where he meets Lowen a small author who just lost her mother and is looking for a job to distract herself. Lowen takes the offer Jeremy has negotiated with her and in order to start the series, she needs to familiarise herself with Verity's work. Lowen agrees to stay in there house for the weekend to get the notes she needs only to come across Verity's manuscript that was never to be read by anyone and things take a turn after she realizes she's is falling for Jeremy and is conflicted whether to give him the manuscrips to read or keep them to herself, what unravels next is shocking,,,It's a must read for thriller lovers.

This is my first Colleen Hoover book. I'm a big fan of true crime, thrillers etc. (hence why I haven't read her romance books). THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING. I was at the EDGE of my seat. I felt so much stuff and literally this was better than binge watching ANY of my fav netflix series. Colleen is an exceptional writer. I cannot recommend this book more.

Probably the best of all the Coho reads. The ending is insane. Triggering if you have kids but loved it nonetheless

I never read for Collen as I am more into coho and psych thriller books, and this one is just wow! From her writing to the plot twist to the embodiment of the characters, spectacular read!

Mediocre thriller mystery. Finished it in 2 days since the suspense will make you more curious of what's going to happen next.

One of my favorite books

I ended up purchasing Verity by Colleen Hoover because it was chosen for my book club (less of a club, more of a bunch of nurses who love to read). This is my honest review of the book after reading it (don't worry, there are NO spoilers).The genre is like a spicy mystery (it gets naughty, but not in a fun way since the undertones are dark. If you like romance novels, this isn't THAT kind of spicy). The writing is well done and kept me interested, maybe not HOOKED but that's rare for me. It is mainly written from the perspective of the female lead and details her experience with finding love in the midst of another family's mysterious tragedies.This is one of those books where there are no true heros. You don't fall in love with any specific character, no one is truly "good". If you like a feel-good type of book, this isn't going to be it. It is dark and twisted, with certain details shocking or maybe even scary.The book twists and surprises you in a way that you won't expect. I usually don't like mysteries because the endings are either too predictable or so unpredictable that it isn't believable and creates plot holes. The ending to this book was something I did NOT expect, but something that I could believe. You are left to decide how you want to interpret it, which makes this GREAT for book club discussions. I finished this book, put it down, and had to take a minute to just think and sort my thoughts/feelings.If you like a mystery with a little bit of spice, dark undertones, good twists, and thought-provoking open-ended conclusions, I recommend reading this book! I wouldn't say this was my favorite book of all time, but it definitely was a good, worthy read.Hope this helps!

Buenísima historia

Great book, kept me wanting to find out what was going on in that house.

It is dark and that makes it more intersting to read. Not to mention the 180° turn in the story in the last 30 pages.Completed in 2 days xD.

Haven't read yet, but book is in very good condition. Highly recommended! Buy it!
