Good solid practical guide
As someone returning to project management with some basics in my toolbox this has been a good practical guide to get me back into understanding how this knowledge work in the context of the APM Project Management qualification. What it has been able to help me do so far get a fundamental grasp is how far (or near to) I am from the requisite understanding and knowledge to pass this and also set my realistic timetables for taking the course. Budget is limited for me so a primer like this, I am hoping will help me avoid an expensive mistake. The real proof of its usefulness will be when I take the exam but the key thing I feel this text has to offer is the way it turns the syllabus into useful topics with revision exercises. As a minor criticism there a few small typos here and there but that doesn't detract from the fact that this has provided a real bridge for me in my practical learning between the official materials of the APM and my own structured learning plan and existing knowledge.

Excellent revision guide
Excellent revision guide and companion for my online learning. It’s all laid out in a logical clear format. All relevant information, no padding out, easy to use.

Useful but not to be used in isolation
This book is a good summary on the course content. The official APM BoK 7th Edition is unreadable, and it is verbose (contains more flashy words than it is needed, which makes it appear complicated than it actually is). I really like PMQ Primer's succinct layout and easy to follow format, which was a great tool for revision. However, a few stuff are missing or not as well explained than it should be, and also contains some naming differences compared to the APM BoK. I recommend this book, but it must be used together with a course textbook or APM BoK to ensure all contents are covered.

Good Resource for studying APM-PMQ examination
I found this book an envaluable resource to study each APM PQ topic. The revision questions gave a good way of practising how the questions would be asked in the examination. The answers are available and as i took the examination in January the revision i did from this book really helped.I can't lend this book to anyone else to study as i still use it day to day for risk management and Earned value for project management so its been a good investment. I have recommended my colleagues to purchase this book. The content isn't as 'dry' as some examination resource material. I am pleased to say i passed my exam and credit the book for my success.

Would highly recommend it
Would highly recommend this to anyone studying for the Association for Project Management (APM).It fills in most of the gaps that the APM-BOK has. Gives you the sort of tools that are only briefly mentioned in the APM-BOK.May also be useful for anyone reading up on Project Management in general, PRINCE2, PM-BOK etc..The one small complaint that I would have is that it has no Index. But the Table of Contents at the start is very detailed.
