Zip Line Safety Stop Block

This block works perfect with shock chord which is not included so make sure to purchase some. A lot of people seem to talk about wear, I haven't experience that yet but I did try to make my shock cord line up as much with the zip line as possible as to not pull the block too much to one side. I think that is probably the problem most people are seeing is the shock cord pulling the block against the zip line when being pushed if you can attach it in the same direction as your zip line it should pull along without shredding the block.

Did exactly as it was supposed to do but was very expensive for what it was. Cable is already working into the block and it has not been up for a month yet. And shipping charges were ridiculous!

Though it works well for its intended purpose we have only used it a few times now and come to realize the material is soft and where the cable comes through has almost completely worn through to the top of the block. Needs to have some sort of metal lining to prevent the extreme excessive wearing. If we had been using this for a long time I would understand this happening but it appears to wear quite easily.

The second Zip Line Stop Block we have needed and ordered.The blocks show wear quickly and seem overpriced for such a simple two material product…..but the zip line is a huge hit….

This product is incomplete. It does not include the shock cord. You will need to purchase that separately. It is a lot of money for two pieces of nylon and two bolts. I haven't used it yet and may update the number of stars that I've given if it is amazing, but not likely.

I was initially very disappointed with this product. In a matter of days it was already showing ware to the point of needing to be replaced. I contacted the company and was disappointed when I was told that is pretty normal. I did however discover that by rotating the cube I was able to prolong the life of the brake for a full year and a half!!! As you can see in the picture I used all 4 possible locations of ware; top-front, top back, bottom front, bottom back. It has done exactly what it was meant to do and all for about $3 a month.

Not sure we needed it. Kids stop on their own at base of tree. Spent $19.99 on it plus another $20 to ship.

Worked well for two weeks but then wore completely thru and fell off. Don't buy this product! It could have severely injured one of my grandkids! $39.99 for something that lasts 2 weeks and is a safety hazard?!?! No thanks!
