IP68 Waterproof Junction Box Outdoor Cable Connector, Extension Electrical Cable Protector for Cable Diameter Ø5mm-8mm (Pack of 3)

First brought one of these a little while ago to see how good they are, just reordered this pack of 3 to enable us to install outside lighting and move a pond pump and UV filter. They are well made and so simple and easy to fit together and install, the connector seems to be very efficient in stopping rain water getting in and seems well waterproofed. (Not suitable for being submerged in water), all screws and fittings were included. Not overpowering or large so they can be hidden from view under rocks, slabs or plants, helping keep the pond and lighting appearance right. When built up there is a little yellow silicone washer that you can see on the cable so helps remind you that the cable and connector is there. There are really good value for money, will buy again and keep one in stock just in case I need an outside cable repairing. (Electric hedge cutter was one :-/ for instance)

Brilliant product, having the small screwdriver included in the box was a massive help !! saves a lot of time connecting various electrical products to extend wires etc.

Easy to set up, I used crimped ferrules on wires for a better connection. Overall a good products that works well.

Does a great job as a connector to extend cables for Christmas lights and Halloween decorations, bought several since and would buy again. Sturdy and simple comes with a screwdriver.

Seems very solid but only time will tell whether it really is waterproof. Nice/easy layout for wiring. I got a three pack which only had 4 cable cleats rather than the six shown but no biggie.

Well, blow me down and call me Captain Nemo! These IP68 waterproof inline cable connectors have made me feel like an underwater electrician, ready to tackle the deep sea wiring of Atlantis. Let’s be honest, as a Brit, I’m more familiar with drizzle than deluge, but these connectors are ready for a full-blown monsoon. I’m half convinced they’d work at the bottom of the Thames. Fitting them was so easy that I didn’t even need to consult the missus or resort to the classic British pastime of YouTube tutorials. Not only are they waterproof, but they seem more watertight than my neighbor’s excuses for borrowing my lawnmower. I tested one by submerging it in a bucket of water for hours, and it came out drier than my mum’s Sunday roast. These connectors are so robust, they could probably survive a Brexit debate unscathed. In all seriousness, if you need reliable waterproof connectors that make you feel like James Bond on a DIY mission, these are your go-to. Absolutely tip-top, old chap! 🌧️💧🔧

Excellent product, I have used non waterproof connectors before and will definitely use this product again for many projects such as outdoor lights and cabled garden tools
