Great Read
This Manga was a great read all the way to the end. It does get bit confusing on the 3rd book in it but is still entertaining. The hardcover was nice as well making perfect in the collection. I recommend it to anyone looking for a classic manga style and is into futuristic scfi.

Censored by the author yes, but still good
I enjoy Shirow's work, but I've noticed comments about censorship in the 2023 3-in-1 book. Some reviewers say changes were made against the creator's wishes or for Western audiences. However, an article from bleedingcool.com states that Kodansha, the Japanese publisher, confirmed that Masamune Shirow requested these changes. He provided redrawn pages for the deluxe Complete Box Set in 2017, which are also included in the 2023 3-in-1 Hardcover. The revisions were made at the author's request, so you'll need an older print version if you want the original pages. I also include a difference on one page. The pages are flipped like in the 2017 version, and the paper has a slight bleed. Overall, it feels acceptable compared to other books with higher-quality paper.

The All In One BOOK Version
Well-ity, well-ity, WELLLLLLLL . . . .This is NOT the COMPLETE Edition. This is The Complete EDITED AMERICAN Version. There's a FEW pages that STILL remain left out. 😕 So if you bought this in hopes if seeing that tawdry material, there is only ONE page in Man-Machine Interface left intact. But if you're like ME, you're going to buy each and every collected edition you can get. For me, this is the second complete edition, and I will continue to do so everytime they release one, because a hard cover version is everything that I seek. This story, in all three stories is STILL my favorite Manga, besides the Ranma 1/2 manga books. I'm still hoping for a hardcover, or complete re-release of ALL the Rumiko Takahashi volumes that I can grab. So if you are a hard-core Ghost In The Shell fan, grab it if there's still any left after the pre-order, it's worth the buy!

Well put together.
I haven't read the whole book, just skimmed it as it just arrived recently. It's in english, with the translation seemingly appropriate and a lot of useful translation notes in the margins to give very useful context. The art is sharp, with there being very distinct style changes between the 3 main sections (utilizing different artists, I imagine). Lots of fanservice in the art, skimpy clothing, bare nudity etc. but I didn't scout any sexual interaction but knowing the little about the series I do, I expect there to be some. Probably a PG-13 or higher rating. The cover on the amazon listing is the actual cover and looks very nice. The book is indeed hardcover, solidly put togetherand sturdy. For some unknown reason my book came packaged inside an unsealed ziploc bag that was slightly too small for it (all of this was further packed inside plastic amazon packaging of course). Very strange. Also it's a manga... in manga format.... so it will be read from right to left, with the cover on the right hand side.

Good art, neat to follow the stories I've seen from other versions as they were originally written.
Really it's all in the title. I see the plot beats that were later used in the movies and TV series, with extra little bits added in. The notes in the margins were a little bit fine for me to read easily, but it's cool that they're there. Gorgeous art, too. The extra jokes and added details about Motoko and her crew really stands out and balances the tone of the story, compared to the rather more serious (in my opinion) movie and Stand Alone Complex.
